An easy-to-use and relatively lightweight vacuum with excellent cleaning capabilities in ALL types of situations. Great for normal floor cleaning (carpet or hard floors), furniture cleaning and especially for hard-to-reach places.
Although some may consider the cost of this vacuum expensive, the cost is more than offset by the quality, cleaning capabilities, and number of included attachments.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I am in love with Dyson cordless products and this is absolutely the cream of the crop. So easy my 7 and 9 year olds even love using it! Fantastic on all sorts of floors - we have hardwood, vinyl, rugs and traditional carpets and I have yet to be disappointed.
I would recommend this to a friend!

ITS A GREAT UNIT, keep in mind that when using the full vacuum setting it will only function for 7 minutes. it would be a great idea to have a second battery that would pop on/off ...maybe the next one--V10 ABSOLUTE.. will have this feature to give it a good back up set up. it does take a while for it to recharge. having a second battery that you can leave charged would make the unit much better. I do like the wall hanger clip you can use to store attachments, and to keep it charged up. unit breaks down great for clean up....it can get a little smelly depending on what you are cleaning up.
and there you have it.the Dyson V8 ABSOLUTE!!!!!!!!!!!

My wife and I love this vacuum. We can't stop using it. It works great and is very easy to use. My wife has severe arthritis and has a hard time usin her hands, which was always a problem with other vacuums because they were so bulky and heavy. This is not the case with the dyson. It is very light and super easy to use. We couldn't be happier!!!
