This is the 5th Dyson I have purchased in the last 15 years or so; for myself, my sister, my mom, an extra for upstairs and now the cordless one for my daughter who is moving out. She's tickled with it because it's cordless and so lightweight. We got the purple one and it's so pretty!! Definitely not an eyesore that needs to be hidden when not in use. We love it!

Purchased one for condo as I have a golden retriever.. liked it so much that I bought one for my primary home. This vacuum helps keep up with his shedding with minimal efforts. So easy to collect the hair from the tile and hard wood floors. Highly recommend

Great for pets but not much charge to do an entire

Great product of you just need to do small jobs like pet hair or a spill in the kitchen. My home is 2570 sq ft and the vacuum runs out of power quickly. Have to recharge it often. In order to finish vacuum the whole house I have to break out the old Kirby to finish the job.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very very good vacuum I love I just wish the battery would last longer that's the only reason I dint give it five star because of the charge

Your vacuum, while smaller, lightweight and cordless, can still pack the same power as a corded vacuum cleaner. This will all be thanks to the powerful V8 motor which spins at 110,000rpm, providing you with powerful suction, making our cordless machines the most powerful cordless vacuums.
Your vacuum will come with standard and Max power modes. Our cordless models also have a run-time enhancing light touch trigger which ensures battery power is only used when the trigger is pushed. In Max power run time will be up to 7 minutes, and in standard power, you can expect run times of up to 30-40 minutes depending on which tool or attachments you are using. MAX mode can generally be reserved for more stubborn messes or larger debris, and shouldn't be needed for your everyday cleaning.

Easy use!

I bought this recently. So easy to use, love the multifunctional capabilities. Only downfall is the battery does not last as long as advertised. I can only use for about 10 minutes on full charge.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Hi Carrie, this is Kelly with Dyson. Thank you for your review. We are happy to hear that thus far, you have found the V8 Absolute cord-free to be so easy to use, and maneuver around your home. With regard to the run time, you will have two suction modes on your machine. Right out of the box, the machine will be switched on to MAX suction. While this mode is ideal for larger messes and more stubborn debris, you will only get about 7 minutes of run time while in this mode. Regular suction is more suitable for everyday cleaning, and provides 30-40 minutes of run time depending on if you're using a motorized attachment.
