Great for a small apartment.

If you have a home that’s larger than 1500sqft, don’t get this vacuum. Get a higher end model. Battery does not last long. Besides that, awesome technology and machine. Best in the business for a reason. Engineering at its best.

Light and versatile

This is my second stick vacuum by Dyson and I love them. They are light and easy to use. The upright is great for carpets but the stick is better for hardwoods and throw rugs!

Light and powerful

I demonstrate this machine to everyone who visits. It picks up stuff that the old vacuum could not touch. The old vacuum was like driving a truck because it could only to in a straight line. This machine is like a magic wand. the swivel head is a joy to operate. It turns easily, vacuums right up to baseboards and can easily fit under furniture. How gratifying to see what it picks up in the clear plexiglass container.
I thought this would supplement the other vacuum. It is the future. We are giving the old one away.

So easy to clean up floors in a jiffy without a plug in and heavy machine.Wish it had a longer battery time is the only disadvantage, but just have to remember to vaccum for 30 minutes at a time.

A Rock Star!

This is my third Dyson cordless vacuum. I also have a DC44 Animal and DC59 Animal, both of which I continue to use. But, I must say, the new Dyson V8 Absolute Is the "rock star" of all vacuums. I have 2 cats, so I vacuum religiously every day. I *enjoy* vacuuming with this machine. It has amazing suction, outstanding accessories, and a battery that allows all the run time you need. I am so happy with this machine. It is a great investment. Thank you, Dyson!

There’s nothing better than being able to clean up a mess or do general chores around the house with a Dyson. The sun toon is so strong that I know for sure that it’s not going to leave nothing behind like a general broom would. I love my Dyson so much.

My husband bought this for me. We have wall to wall carpets, room size rugs, wood floors and tile. This works on all and is better then expected! Grab it off the holder, do the whole house on one charge and the rugs are so clean. I do not have to bend down to struggle back and forth with this vacuum. Just stand up and vacuum. Used the hand held for our couch and beds. Wow....
