A Dyson is a Dyson !

This is my second tango with Dyson vacuum cleaners... by the way I am still using my older Dyson and it works great but so I could get into more intricate spots plus the flexibility and functionality of wireless devices I bought a V8 Animal and I could not be any happier... great vacuum cleaners ! Light, dependable and strong !

Frustrating experience

I received my Dyson a month ago and was so excited. Unfortunately I had trouble from the very beginning. The battery had to be replaced. Then when I pulled back the trigger still nothing would happen. The latch wouldn’t open the container for when it would be ready to empty. I had high hopes and never got to use it. Very disappointed. I think I just got a dud.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good features

Bought Dyson V8 a few weeks ago and the setup was easy. Just missed setting to regular vacuum instead it was on hyper and it only ran about 15 minutes. After changing the switch setting, it ran for a much longer cycle. Vacuum very well on carpet and is very easy to clean out the container on the unit. It met its requirements. Satisfied with the purchase but wish it had a longer running battery.

Love this! Cordless is so appreciated! So easy to use, lightweight and different attachments are extremely easy to attach and change. Would love to see the power button have a locking feature - but so happy with this ourchase

This is a great vacuum. This is my 3rd Dyson, and it's the best. Everything has gotten much better, and now this will be the only one that I need.
