surprising battery life

I was a bit concerned about possible short battery performance. I charged my v8 overnight and the next day vacummed the whole house. The battery still showed two out three bars of available energy when I finished. I have three bedrooms, living room, den, laundry and two bathrooms. Not huge but a normal size house with no carpets, all hardwood.The v8 on regular power using the soft brush roller had plenty of juice and then some.

The trigger is awful.

There are som great things about the v8. Notably improved performance and longer run time. However the trigger is an issue for me. During 20 minutes of vacuuming my finger slips off of it at least 12 times. First world problems. However, I think the price you pay for a Dyson warrants a better trigger. The one on the v7 was awesome I never had this problem. I keep hoping there is a recall or something and they fix this issue.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

So convenient! I reach for this several times a day. I mounted it in my kitchen since I use it there most. I have 4 kids and it makes cleaning up after meals and snacks a breeze. Works great on carpet too. Even use it in my car!

I've been using my Dyson V8 vacuum for a few weeks now. It's hard to believe that I could manage without it. My carpets and floor have never been so clean! The suction power on this lightweight slim model vacuum is awesome! It's the best and smartest purchase I made in 2021!

This is my second Dyson cordless. The first was. V6. This one is much more powerful and easier to empty the cylinder. I love it. I’m amazed at what it can pick up even though I vacuum once a day and sometimes twice because my cat sheds.

I absolutely love this model. I own a split entry home and I was having difficulty vacuuming the stairs with a previous different model and this one makes it so easy! It’s extremely lightweight and easy to maneuver around. I love the trigger on it because I can “stop” it when necessary and not kill the battery. I’m able to vacuum my entire home (upstairs and downstairs which is a total of 10 rooms in addition to stairs and hallways) before it needs to be charged. It’s also amazing for cleaning out your car. I love how I’m able to take the longer tube part off and still use attachments. I’ve used this model everywhere in my home and I would highly recommend it for anyone.
