Best vacuum I’ve ever had

I have a central vac but wanted something for quick pick-ups…this vacuum puts it to shame. The suction is so powerful and so easy to maneuver. Bye-bye central vac!

I've had this for a good two weeks now that replaced a Dyson dc35 which still works after 7 years of heavy use. I cringed at the cost but it's worth it. Great improvements! Battery life, suction, carpet beater brush, accessories, ease of use, etc. are great! Wife is very happy with it as am I. We have no complaints and are satisfied. We hope it will last like our older one which is still in use.

I bought a Dyson upright vacuum in the early 2000s that lasted until 2021. I am really pleased with how light it is, easy to use, and the incredible suction power.

In the several weeks that I've had the machine I am amazed at how much dirt it picked up from a seemingly clean floor.
The mechanics of emptying the collection bin took some practice.
The Dyson isn't terribly heavy but I have found that the base of my thumb hurts after using it. Perhaps the handle could be curved for a better hand hold fit in future designs.

I purchased this as a gift for my husband's birthday last month as a hint that we need to keep the floors tidier. Boy have things changed around here! It is now a snap to clean my floors, ceilings and cars. No more struggling with cords and outlets and because it is so convenient, both of us use it daily. What a dependable timesaver! I highly recommend this lightweight portable gem of a vacuum.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far this does a good job at my area rugs and hardwood floors. One thing I would suggest to Dyson is change the trigger to have a switch for on instead of always having to keep your finger on the trigger to operate. It gets tiring holding it down to stay on when operating a wide area. Other than that, so far so good, I would recommend.
