Extreme Suction Power!

I bought this vacuum as a supplement to my regular canister vac. I chose the Dyson V8 Absolute for the soft floor attachment for use on hardwood and linoleum floors. However, it's become my go-to vacuum for all my needs, including carpet! This cordless vac has lots of suction power!!! So much that I find myself grabbing the V8 for most of my vacuuming needs, including carpet! It's maneuverable and can get in and out of small spaces with ease. The first time I used it on carpet, I was amazed at how much dirt was in the canister. It is a well thought out product. I especially like being able to click a button and the dirt falls directly into a trash can. There are no costly bags to buy. I would definitely recommend the V8 Absolute!!!

Good stick vac!

I had this one for a couple years. It did a great job. My only desire was for a longer battery. The newer models have a larger capacity battery. But it’s great for doing a quick sweep of the main level of your home before people stop by. My sister bought 2! We love Dyson stick vacs!

Amazing results

After 2 months using the V8, I'm still amazed at how well it cleans. We have a dog and cleaning her bed is easy with this vacuum. The powered brushes do a very good job of getting the hair off the carpet and her bedding. Even on the low power setting, it cleans very well.

Love the V8, had an older model that had died after about 8 yrs so I got this model. The only thing I would change is the On/Off button, would to not have to hold in while vacuuming all the time. Highly recommend Dyson products.

I have been through many vacuums and Dyson has always impressed me both with the power, ease of use, and useful features. There simply is no other vacuum with comparable power and versatility as Dyson. It's an investment worth making, especially if you have pets.

This is my second Dyson. I have the V7 which I love. So much that J needed a second one for my upper floors. The V8 is much quieter and lasts longer. Love it!!!

Best Investment

It's worth every penny. Albeit, it costs several pennies it cleans deep—my husband mentioned, "It feels like you mopped the hardwood floors" when I just tried the vacuum out for the first time. Our rugs also got what seemed like a major deep clean without much effort. The attachments make it applicable to use daily. It's lightweight and maneuvers easily. I love it!
