Better than expected

My hopes were already pretty high but I was still surprised at the power behind this little thing.
I wish the wall caddy had more places to store attachments.

Great performance

I bought this vacuum a couple of weeks ago and the first time I used it I was amazed at how much dirt came out of my carpet. I have used it on my hard floors as well and have been very pleased with its performance there.

Great features

I bought the Dyson V8 a week ago. I have used it on wood floors and carpet. It has a very powerful battery operated motor. The suction is very good and the tool selection is great. The only draw back to the machine is the amount of time the battery lasts. I think as I get more aquatinted it will easier to use it more efficiently.

A dream of a vacuum

This is my first ever Dyson and I love it! It's light weight, stores easily, fits under furniture well, and of course, the suction is fantastic. It does wonders across hard surface flooring as well as carpets of different shag lengths.
The only items I wish were improved are the comfort of the grip area (not awful by any means, but could be enhanced) and the ability to access the charging port when the vacuum is on its wall mount (seems like a miss to not be able to charge it while it's hung up).
Even despite those two things, however, I would still highly recommend this vacuum!

Lightweight wonder

I like the portability and functionality of the Dyson V8 Absolute. It's great to use almost anywhere around the house. Too bad it didn't come with an easy way to store all of the attachments!

I love this vacuum. It is so easy to use and change out the attachments! I am very, very pleased with this vacuum and would recommend to anyone who has a pet for sure. I can't believe how much it has picked up. The only small, small complaint is the handheld part can get a little heavy when using it for long periods of time. But I would let that stop me from fully recommending this to anyone. I'm getting ready to go out and buy the large one for the whole house now. Can't wait to get it.

This is a wonderful vacuum for the carpet, hardwood floors and so nice to be able to take out into the garage and clean the carpets in the cars. Works just as advertised. This one compliments our older Dyson Animal.
