Great performance

Makes vacuuming fun! I am a pet owner and have stairs, hardwood, carpet, tile and laminate floors; the Dyson V8 Absolute is an amazing vacuum. It is easy to use, picks up all the pet hair and leftover crumbs with no problem. The filter system keeps the dust controlled and it is very easy to maintain and clean. I really like the cordless option with the mounted charging station. By far the best vacuum I have owned and everything is so clean. Thank you Dyson!

A LIFETIME INVESTMENT

I agonized over making a purchase which is the equivalent of my mortgage payment. My experience with other Dyson products convinced me this would be a worthwhile investment. So, I splurged and bought it. It replaces my "Lynx" cordless vacuum which was miserable to use and picked up only 1/3 of what it should have. I have a large home, two German Shepherd Dogs and a Parrot who are constantly shedding. My new Dyson V8 hangs at the ready when the dust bunnies and fur balls are flying everywhere, which is daily. It is so convenient to grab it and vacuum away at a moment's notice, whereas my canister vacuum (which I use for heavy duty cleaning) is always cumbersome to pull out of the closet and assemble and drag to the area I wish to clean after finding a nearby outlet. I no longer have to deal with all of that when I wish to do a quick cleanup. It is powerful and sucks up the pistachio shells my parrot flicks onto the floor with ease. Fur also gets sucked right up. And, it is relatively quiet compared to other vacuum cleaners. It maneuvers on a dime and easily goes beneath furniture. The reasons I gave it 4 stars rather than 5 is that because it does such a good job, the tank fills very quickly. I spend a great deal of time emptying it. I would prefer that the tank is larger. The second reason I gave it 4 stars rather than 5 is because you constantly have to hold your finger on the trigger. It is only a minor inconvenience. I am very pleased with my purchase and know that it will be with me for a very, very long time. Thank you, Dyson, for a terrific product.

Superior results for minimum effort!

I have a yellow lab who sheds a lot, especially this past month. I also am recovering from a hand surgery, and it is extremely challenging (impossible) for me to use my vacuum cleaners. Having someone come to clean and dust twice a month wasn't enough so I decided to splurge on the Dyson V8 Absolute. Great decision! The suction is powerful, yet relatively quiet. It is light weight and easy to use with my one functioning hand, and I love having a cordless vacuum. Lastly, there's no muss, no fuss in dumping the dog hair straight into the garbage, and I look forward to reduced allergies in the coming spring!

So convenient to use

I cannot say how much I Love this vacuum. One of the best purchases I have made. I have a big German shepherd and as much as he sheds I pretty much have to vacuum every day and with this vacuum it makes that chore SO much easier. It is lightweight and easy to empty the dirt out. I highly recommend it for anyone.

This is a perfect vacuum. So happy I went with this model, I have a cat, a toddler and a mini Australian Shepard, the V8 manages to keep up with ALL their messes !!

Great stick vacuum

We purchased another popular brand stick vacuum and it was a big flop. Both my husband and I are very happy with the dyson. It’s light, is great for a quick pickup around the house. Stores easily and is EASY to use.

What a shame. I had to return my vacuum cleaner because the disposal pull did not work. I have had Dysons for years. I am going to pick up another one

I am surprised that i bought my 3rd Dyson and am going to have to return it because the disposal handle does not work. I will replace it with the same and hope everything works. I cannot live without my Dyson. I love it!
