I am 22 and never thought that I would be SO excited to clean.. I love organizing and cleaning, and Dyson makes it so freaking easy and FUN to do so. I have a clean space constantly because of the ease that comes with using the Dyson for an hour, or a second!! It's amazing. Don't hesitate - invest in this essential product that will be in your life for years to come!!

Very Good with 2 Exceptions

Much better than the V6 we had: stronger & quieter + cleaner to breathe!
BUT a major loss compared to the V6, is that my expensive array of tools from our Big Ball will no longer FIT our battery operated unit! Examples are our dog groomer tool & the twine turbine brush tool.
PLEASE MAKE AN ADAPTER so I don't have to BUY complete duplicates of ALL my tools! The V6 made my wife SICK whenever she tried to use it by blowing dust into her face--and this improvement makes the V8 much improved. An adapter for my other Dyson tools will get you the 5th Star!

Easy to use.

I have rheumatoid arthritis and the Dyson is very easy to use. I have no carpeting in my home and it only takes about 20 minutes to vacuum the house! I have yet to use it for blinds but that is for next weeks spring cleaning chore. I have used it on upholstered chairs. My husband also has used the Dyson and likes it very much. We are pleased with our purchase and feel it will make our lives easier!

Easily Reaches hard to access places

I love this vacuum as it makes vacuuming in hard to reach places and stairs much easier than my previous vacuum. I wish it had a little more battery though. I do tend to use max suck all the time.

I finally got my cordless Dyson !!!

I finally got a cordless Dyson that lasts for 40 minutes with a car cleaning kit. However I am so disappointed due to the following reasons:
1. If you use the maximum suction which is the only one that works really well you have more
like 10 minutes instead of 40 minutes.
2. It took me about 2 days to vacuum my car because it kept turning off every 10 minutes even
though it was fully charged.
3. You can not vacuum and charge it at the same time.
4. It takes forever to charge.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
