Great vacuum. Does a great job picking up dust and animal fur on our rugs. I highly recommend giving this a try. You won’t want to buy another brand anymore. I own three other dyson products now.

After being home for the holidays I used my Mom's V6. I was hooked. Even in her immaculately clean house it was able to pick up a good amount of dirt and dust out of the carpet.
I chose the V8 because of the extra powered brush heads. The soft brush head works wonders on our hardwood.

I don't know why I waited so long to buy my first Dyson. I Love it. it is so powerful and easy to use. I have two Shih Tzu dogs and it picks up after them wonderfully. I Highly recommend this vacuum you wont be disappointed.

I have 4 Dyson vacuums and this one is my favorite! My husband bought me this one to replace the V6. This one is soooooooooo powerful. I would have to get me upright vacuum out to do the rugs and furniture in the house with the V6. We have all wood downstairs so the V6 was ok but did not do the whole job. The new V8 is WONDERFUL. This is a work horse and does last longer than I need to finish my daily duties. We have 3 dogs and the attachment for the furniture is most impressive. It is expensive, but to me it is well worth the money. Thank you Dyson for making my daily duties easier! GREAT PRODUCT!!!

Easy to maneuver

Love ALMOST everything about it. My complaint is that I wish it had a lock to stay “on” instead of having to hold down the trigger with a digger. Very tiresome. I am surprised I did t see that about it when I researched comments before buying it.

So light weight but, don’t let that fool you, the power is incredible. We have a German Shepherd and I have to use it everyday! It not only vacuums the regular stuff but, it also sweeps the floor!!! I can see the tracks of dust that comes off the wood floors, when the sunshine hits it just right :-)
