Handy!

I bought this to help keep the bedroom dust-free (the Swiffer just wasn't cutting it). Turns out it's incredibly handy. Perfect for when you don't want to haul out the big vacuum. It'll probably take over.

Powerful Machine!

I bought this machine after seeing it advertised on television and I must say it was well worth the purchase. I love all of the attachments that come with this model and being the owner of cats, it is great for getting cat hair off of all surfaces. Very easy to clean and reassemble. Not to mention powerful suction. A must have!

Best portable deep cleaner!

Just two weeks in and I am sold on the Dyson V8. Outstanding power in the standard mode. I have a 185 lb English mastiff who has the run of the house. I vacuum every morning and have yet to use the max power mode. The approximate 40 minute charge is more than adequate. The V8 is relatively light to hold with low noise threshold. Quick and touch-less disposal of dog hair and dander is an added bonus. Highly recommended-you get what you pay for!

My Dyson V8 vacuum is lightweight and it’s suction ability is powerful. The only thing it just don’t run a long as they say. I only get about a hour then has to recharge, but the recharging is kind of quick at times. Other than that it’s a great vacuum to have and it’s not to loud.
I would recommend this to a friend!

You're Paying For The Name

Bought this assuming it would be as great as my upright plug-in that I've had for years. It's not. If you have arthritis the trigger handle will be difficult for you, especially since you need to hold it the entire time you're using the vacuum. My finger is tired at the end of cleaning! It DOES NOT last 45 minutes on a full charge... it needed to be recharged before I was able to finish vacuuming our 1,015 sg ft apartment. I wish I hadn't thrown out my old plug-in, this one just isn't worth the price and I feel you're only paying for the name.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We know that battery run time is a very important aspect of performance for our owners, so we developed a trigger that helps maximize the amount of time you can clean on one charge. We chose a light-touch trigger over an on/off switch to ensure that battery life is never wasted by letting the machine run when it's not in active use.
Regarding the run time, your vacuum will come with standard and Max power modes. Our cordless models also have a run-time enhancing light touch trigger which ensures battery power is only used when the trigger is pushed. In Max power run time will be up to 7 minutes, and in standard power, you can expect run times of up to 30-40 minutes depending on which tool or attachments you are using. Amazing! technology

I simply love my new vacuum! I know it is crazy to love a vacuum, but it is so easy to use. And I can do a quickie clean up where ever I need to without dragging out a large vacuum. The technology is so very clever, even with how it dumps the bin.

Great machine - hate the scuff marks and...

Happy with the performance so far.. less than 30 days since I purchased it bought it to get rid of long pet hair and sand on my bed and on all tile floor.
Have couple of issues a) very visible scuff marks on the long tube which sometimes tends to rub against the under edges of furniture. b) the bottom lid also does not always automatically close 100% of the time.
I did not receive any free product to help me write this review..
