Best vacuum ever!

I bought one of these at my husband's urging because hauling out my Miele every day to vacuum the dog hair was a real chore. I have had it for 3 months now and love it so much that I bought 2 more, one each for our boat and a vacation home. It does an amazing job and has great accessories. The suction is incredible and it's light and easy to use.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Nice to work with a vacuum that doesn't have a cord attached to it.
It's nice a quiet, too (compared to a reg vacuum)
I like the way it empties the dirt- I don't have to dig around and clean it all out.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Some friends of mine bought one a few years ago. I helped my girlfriend assemble hers and mounted the charging station for her. She has a dog. I have 2 cats. She was impressed with hers. So am I. My cats each have their own pillows. Used to take up to 15 minutes to remove the hair with my Sensor XP12 and 3M lint brush and rollers. Do it in 5 with my V8. When I vacuum I call it, "Taking The Beast for a walk."

This is our third Or fourth Dyson. We keep one on each floor. Over the years COUSTOMER service has been great and so are the vacuums.

Is pretty good for light use. The canister is very small and if you have dogs you are constantly emptying the canister. It is light and easy to maneuver and does do a pretty good job, but for 3 bedroom house it is just not designed for large areas. I would recommend this to a friend with a small apartment.

The bin of your V8 Absolute will have a MAX fill line to indicate when it is full and time to empty. We generally will recommend emptying your bin by at least the top MAX line that the bin has. I'm also happy to inform you that the clear portion of your bin may be removed for optional maintenance, if desired.
While we don't ever expect any problems to occur with your V8 Absolute, Dyson does back your new machine from an authorized retailer with a free 2-year guarantee. Best thing ever.

I have been wanting this for some time now and finally got it as a gift this past holiday season. I absolutely love it. I love how quick and simple it is to do a quick sweep of the house and our wood floors. There is nothing this machine can not do. Not only do I use it for the floors, but also on the rugs and for the window coverings. It's light and portable and the charge lasts for me to do the entire house.
I would recommend this to a friend!
