Nice vacuum

I've used the Dyson V8 twice since I received it. Great machine. I've noticed that vacuum is so light and powerful that I spend much less time cleaning floors. I no longer stop, drink coffee and rest for 10 minutes after one room (I'm 68). I thought long and hard about making purchase but I'm glad I did. Nice job! I may add a comment concerning reliability after I've used it for a while longer.

Awesome power

I bought this a month ago. The power picks upall kinds of particles up. The convenience of picking it up from the power source is worth the extra money. Always charged. Love seeing the dirt from the container being thrown away. Visually and physically great.

I would give this vac 5 stars but you can't shut off the beater bar. I have one rug that stalls out the bar as it shouldn't be vacuumed with a rotating bar.

Game Changer! How did I live without it….?

From the moment I took this vacuum out of the box, there really isn’t a day that I go without using it! I found myself vacuuming more than ever! Having 4 long-haired cats and 2 family members who are very allergic to them, vacuuming has become easier than ever. Easy vacuuming has helped it become a frequent chore during my day making my house cleaner than ever (even with the long-haired cats!) I have even brought this vacuum on vacation with me and brought it along for long road-trips. I’m always ranting and raving about my vacuum, my mom ended up getting one as well!
High power, lightweight, slender (not bulky at all!), and helpful attachments….. I am so happy with my Dyson V8 vacuum. Life changing!

This vacuum is awesome. It holds charge longer than my last Dyson. Very handy for quick clean-ups & could do the entire house on one charge!!

I can't explain the joy of cleaning with this remarkable machine! I am amazed the crud that I see it collecting from my carpet! I'm embarrassed to admit it because I always thought I kept up with vacuuming but my V8 is putting me to shame!
$$$ came easy to swallow after I have been using my Dyson.
I have a cat and I shed too.. my cat is a happier pet and us cat owners know how particular cats are about cleanliness!
If you are reading reviews (like I did) to justify spending a lot of money, let me tell you... buy with confidence. I don't make boo koo bucks but I care greatly about cleanliness and the ease (and fun!) of it!
