Best vacuum I have ever owned!

I bought this vacuum a few weeks ago. At first I was hesitant about the price but once I began using it I never thought of that price again. Totally worth it !

Perfect size and weight

This is my second Dyson and my first cordless Dyson. I was skeptical that it would be a strong as my plug in Animal, but it is! I bought this for a small lakeside camp (750 sq ft) and it's now so easy to keep clean thanks to this cordless. The cordless model is small and lightweight, but has the ability to pick up all the dog hair and dirt we bring in from the lake and woods. I like that it has a recharging station so I know the vacuum is fully charged whenever I need to use it. The best part is the quick release to clean the canister. It's so easy and empties all the dirt and hair at once. In my Dyson Ball, I have to use my fingers to pull out the dirt and hair that gets stuck in the clear bin. My only complaint would be that there isn't a steady on position (you have to hold the trigger) and that I can't turn off the beater brush bar like in my other Dyson Ball. Also, there is no onboard tool attachment, so you have to bring the brush and crevice tools with you in your pocket. Otherwise - it's perfect. I'm looking forward to trying it in my car!

Making life easier!

We purchased our V8 Absolute a couple weeks ago and are so glad! The ease of storage and retrieval, ease of use (lightweight and no cord), and useful range of tools has helped reduce the time and effort required by cleanup. The V8 replaces multiple cleaning tools or methods and we find ourselves cleaning more and more often because it's just easier!

All I can say is where has this been all my life.! We have a large push vacuum we live. We have 6 pets. I’m amazed at the suction and what it picks up.

Amazing product

I recieved this as a gift from my daughters who know I am fussy about cleaning my house. It has changed my whole attitude toward this effort. It allows me to do everything in the easiest way I could imagine. Cordless! How great that is.

i purchased the dyson v8 in jan 2021 thinking it would meet my needs but even though it is light weight it really has unsatisfactory features. having to hold the on/off trigger the whole time is not good as well as the filter fills up only one one side. the handle rubs on my hand is uncomfortable. overall i am not happy with this vaccum.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Excellent Choice

I have a whole house vacuum and I bought this for quick touch ups between vacuuming with the heavier duty vacuum. But this V8 is absolutely (very aptly named) super handy, powerful and fairly quiet! I'm finding myself vacuuming with the dyson so often I haven't had to drag out the 35' hose for the whole house vac.
It's my first experience with dyson and now I'm hooked!
