Great for a Stick

Great suction like 2 Previous Dysons (Original Animal & Ball). Easy to care for. Power was maintained over 1400 sq ft home with carpeting, tile & wood. Purchased the V8 due to start of arthritic hands. Really lightweight and thin enough to get underneath most furniture. The only drawback I experienced was the need to maintain pressure on the power button. Great idea to get better use of stored power but would be nice to have a "lock option". Made a sore on my top thumb joint. Will use gloves or pad the area, if necessary. Otherwise, have loved the Dyson's clean filtered air and power since 2004.

I bought this for our house last month and will admit I've not yet used it. My husband and daughter think it's great and they are super picky. I look forward to learning about it and trying it.

Amazing vacuum cleaner

This Dyson V8 is absolutely amazing!! I love it. No more back aches while vacuuming! It is great on hardwood, tile and carpet. I think the best feature is that it’s cordless and so easy to empty. No bags to deal with. I had an issue with the first Dyson purchased in November 21, the leaver would not open to dump the waste. Dyson sent me a new one in about 10 days. Great customer service.

I could immediately tell the difference between this and my previous vacuums...the set up was easy...clean up even easier and was dummy proof for me. So excited for this purchase!

My son has this vac & bought me one because he loves it. Has great suction, so light, many easy to use attachments, holds charge well, easy to empty, easy on my back. Easy to grab & go

I love my Dyson V8 Absolute. I should've bought a Dyson 10 years ago but waited till we moved house to finally do it. I can't believe how easy it is to vacuum when you don't have to hassle with a cord. Everyone in my house will be helping more with vacuuming because they can! The machine is light, easy to maneuver and change attachments and good looking.
