light, fast, deep cleaning

just bought it last week. so light makes cleaning easy. and picks up fine dust as well. very deep cleaning on hardwood floors.

Only runs for 4 to 5 minutes not good

I was excited to get my new vacuum from you. For the beginning I have been having problems with it not charging . Sometimes it works ok and sometimes it does NOT . I put it on the charger. Next day using it . It doesn’t work. I gave my Miele to my daughter that has lasted 15 year and still running.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Your machine does have two suction modes, regular and MAX, and right out of the box, the machine will be switched over to MAX mode. In this suction mode, you receive a powerful boost of suction power, with significantly less run time - about 7 minutes. This mode is great for larger debris or more stubborn messes. For everyday vacuuming, we suggest switching the machine in to regular suction mode, which will give 30-40 minutes of run time, depending on if you're using a motorized attachment.

Fantastic vacuum ,with one minor flaw .....

Bought this because everyone says Dyson is the best . Well they were not wrong .Powerful,light weight , ease of use ,easy to clean this has it all ,my one minor complaint is that the power trigger is very sensitive .When you handle it while changing tools ,you keep hitting the switch and turning it on . Not so much a big deal but very annoying .A two position switch with a slight delay might help . Thank you . .

Runs a bit longer and quieter than my v6. Great suction and ease of use. Bin was very difficult to open, but is getting easier. Needs a break in period. Otherwise, no problems.

Battery

This dyson rocks, it does everything and more than my previous upright could do and with less effort on my part. I stretched my budget on this purchase when I was originally only going to get the v6. After reading enough reviews of complaints about battery length my mind told me to spring for the v8 to avoid having to stop cleaning to charge the battery. It is a good thing I did this because I have a smaller house (1000 sq ft) and after doing all my floors/couch/edges I am on the last leg of the battery. And forget about it if I use "max" mode. That being said, the battery would be my only complaint if I had to make one.

Awesome Cordless Vacuum

I purchased the cordless vacuum a year ago and it has worked wonders. No more worrying about cords and it can be used anywhere since the size of the body is interchangeable. Especially love using it on my carpet stairs. It really just fluffs them up. Been using it for a year on regular speed and the battery lasts pretty long.
I would recommend this to a friend!
