She wasn't very happy on the price but after using it she decided it was the best cordless we've had in 30 years

Could be better

I've had just about every vacuum over the years. I have another vacuum cleaner I have had for years. I wanted something for quick clean ups. I love the way the Dyson is made, light weight, handles all corners with ease, able to go under furniture and get into areas I never was able to before. This machine struggles on carpet though. And you really cant run it unless its on "Turbo" mode, it lacks power. Also the way you empty the dirt is a nightmare, good luck not dumping it all over your floor. Good concept but needs work
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this because I have always loved my Dyson vacuum. I also own another brand that is very heavy. This Dyson V8 is perfect, it’s sturdy and easy to use. Works great!

Only runs for 4 to 5 minutes not good

I was excited to get my new vacuum from you. For the beginning I have been having problems with it not charging . Sometimes it works ok and sometimes it does NOT . I put it on the charger. Next day using it . It doesn’t work. I gave my Miele to my daughter that has lasted 15 year and still running.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Your machine does have two suction modes, regular and MAX, and right out of the box, the machine will be switched over to MAX mode. In this suction mode, you receive a powerful boost of suction power, with significantly less run time - about 7 minutes. This mode is great for larger debris or more stubborn messes. For everyday vacuuming, we suggest switching the machine in to regular suction mode, which will give 30-40 minutes of run time, depending on if you're using a motorized attachment.
While we don't ever expect any issues to occur, we would value the opportunity to go over your machine with you, to help make sure it's performing as intended. Please feel free to get in touch with us via email at askdysonUS@dyson.com. We will be looking forward to assisting you.
