We have the big Dyson and while we're happy with it...it's head is too large to go under the sofa and beds. This new cordless is perfect for going in those tight places...PLUS, it's so convenient to just grab and vacuum up a spill...no lugging out the big guns and looking for a plug. We couldn't be happier with it.

Awesome vacuum with one major flaw!

I would give this product five stars except for the fact that you have to hold the power button/handle the entire time you vacuum. It KILLS your hand. I would expect a LOT more than Dyson. The vacuum works really well especially with pet hair, but the power button issue is a big one. Do better Dyson.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

As it stands, there isn't an option to lock the cordless unit's trigger in the on position like a corded vacuum would function. Please be assured, we chose a light-touch trigger over an on/off switch to ensure that battery life is never wasted by letting the machine run when it's not in active use.

Great vacuum but…

Great vacuum! Sucks up everything, lightweight and durable. One major flaw is the power trigger…wish it had a hold switch to keep it on without having to squeeze it so hard.

Love our new V8!!!

We have enjoyed our V7 for the last few years and decided to add a V8, which is even more powerful!!! No regrets, with our doggies and desert dust we are loving having 2 to grab!!!

Great vacuum!

Love the vacuum! It’s light weight, easy to use and does a great job. The only downfall... the battery life... It doesn’t last long enough to do the entire house (approx 3,100 sqft) especially if you use the max suction in some of the rooms. but other than that, I love it!
