Great lightweight vacuum

This is our first Dyson vacuum. We got this one because it's very portable & easy to carry upstairs. It does very well with carpets or bare floors. It has better suction than much bigger vacuums. It picks up pet hair great too. It's easy to empty as well. The only thing I wish is that the battery lasted a bit longer.

I am very pleased with performance, build and ease of use of my V8 Absolute. It's the first stick vac I've owned that picks up all the dirt on my kitchen floor in one pass. My only complaint and it's minor, is that the on switch tends to pinch my finger a little when I'm using the vacuum and I have to change the position of my finger.

Very lightweight and powerful

I have the small handheld dyson, which works good, for what I use it for, but this V8 is perfect for the my entire house. The battery indicator is a great enhancement. I can vacuum my entire house (approximately 4000 square feet) without needing to plug in for a recharge. Being lightweight, is a huge plus, and the size allows me to vacuum under things my upright vacuum does not, without changing to the wand. I am extremely pleased. Thank you!

We’ve only had it a few days. However, we already love how the attachments connect, so easily. The suction is very good as is how long the battery lasts. This is our second Dyson stick and the improvements they’ve made are outstanding. I would definitely recommend this model.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love that it is cordless! I also like the two different settings that allow me to use them for different types of flooring. Picks up dirt, hair, etc. like a charm! Easy to clean as well.

Love this vacuum!!! Easy to assemble, lightweight and I find I use it more as it is so easy to use and gets in places my old vacuum could not get to. Highly recommend
