Light weight Wow

I ordered the Vacuum on 1/29/2021 and I love at which ease I can maneuver this tool. So glad I made the jump to buy one... probably my very last vacuum I will ever purchase.

I love this thing! It’s always ready to go. Good for touch ups or a whole room. I don’t dread vacuuming any more and my husband and I fight to do it.

Superb Design

After one month's frequent use , I am hooked on the Dyson V8 Animal. Cordless. Easy to maneuver. A snap to empty. Powerful suction. Lightweight. Versatile attachments. Good filtration. I used to dread vacuuming, having experienced the first electric brooms decades ago the picked-up little and blew dust in my face. This is an entirely different animal that incorporates a well-thought out design and is engineered to strict tolerances. Even the included mounting stand is brilliantly designed. Although the machine is pricey relative to its peers, in my opinion, it is worth the purchase price. My only two concerns are the possible battery replacement after Dyson's 2-year warranty expires since the battery is hardwired, and the hard floor attachment does not glide as well as other floor attachments. Despite these concerns and observations, the Dyson is clearly a cut above the rest and I highly recommend it.

Works great for most surfaces

This would have been a 5 star,.... the function is great, powerful, lightweight, however for the money I felt it should have included a tool for all types of carpet.

Battery Life is terrible. Lucky to get 10 min worth of use before it needs recharged.

Enjoying cordless

Just got it so I have used it once but I can tell Its going to be a welcome addition to my home. I was skeptical at first even reading reviews but decided to buy it
And give it a try. I have health issues that make using the traditional vacuum hard on me. It cleans really good,suction is great. Used it on my kitchen floor and have a whole house of carpet thats laid down not throw rugs,it did a great job on both. Floor types. Love the attachments, they did a good job,I especially like the Small roller one for pet hair on my stairs,made it easy to do.
Would recommend this to everyone.

Just What I need

It took a few days to realize this V8 is the vacuum cleaner I need for my studio apartment and shedding cat. I have hardwood and tile floors. The machine is perfect for quick pick ups and for general vacuuming. The car is not near electrical outlets. So the tools make the V9 perfect for cleaning the mats as well as all the tight spaces.

Best ever

I have had a few brand name cordless vacuums, but never a shark. This vacuum is fantastic it picks up dog hair like crazy. It is so light and easy to use. And I love the small moterized head for the furniture. It is so light and easy I can use it every day. It is definitely a sealed vacuum container and easy to empty. My other cordless vacuums always had hair and dust around the canister and vacuum head. So as I was cleaning some dirt was escaping back in the air. Not with the dyson v8 it is definitely a five star. I will never own other type of vacuum again. Love it!!!!
