I absolutely love my dyson. The only thing I don't find helpful is the power button-you have to keep you finger on it. I wish there was an on /off switch.

I had high hopes

I am struggling to understand, as high-tech as Dyson is with their products, how did they come up with a product that takes 2+ hours to fully charge but gets fully depleted in less than 20 minutes. And that you have to hold down the button to keep it running.
Besides these two major flaws, I like it a lot.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I'm in love with my vacuum

I was skeptical when my husband said he'd ordered this. We already have a central vac with a very long hose. I am loving having no cord, no long hose to drag around. I'm neurotic about clean floors, so being able to just grab my Dyson and clean up is wonderful. I couldn't believe all the dirt and cat hair that was in the canister! I'm not sure how I feel about having to wash the parts, but I guess it will be worth it.

Sweet machine with 2 very minor issues.

I have had this for a week and use it every day as I have two German Shepherds and two Persian cats. So you can imagine the daily hair clean up. First of all, it works like it is supposed to. My two story four bedroom home is 90% hard floor with a huge area rug in living room, so my first concern was the battery life. After a couple of cleanings, I made it through the whole house on regular high suction and it did an excellent job stairway and all. Now, I was being proficient and working faster than I really wanted to so I can beat the battery. Max power was not needed. Not even for the rug. Not sure what I will need max power for. I was curious and used it after I did the area rug on high power and got nothing in the catch can. So IDK.
Anyway, the two minor issues are dusting and attachments. Micro-dust in the catch can is an issue. It is already building up in the catch can and falls out uncontrollably. I usually have to vacuum it up after I dump the can and re-attach the roller head. This is a common issue with all vacuums.
Attachments: The mount holds two attachments. Not a big deal until you go to fetch one of the other attachments in the area that you decided to store it and you have moved it or placed something in front of it.
Like I said, minor issues.
