Buy this for lots of hardwood!!

I have wanted a cordless Dyson for a long time, and now I am wondering why I waited so long. Some may say "The Price", but I will tell you, IT IS WORTH IT. Do not wait! It's nice to just grab and go. I like not having to haul out a big vacumm just to do a small job, or a quick clean up. For any naysayers, like my husband, I will tell you that he loves it! I took it out to our van and vacuumed. It worked amazingly! My only complaint is that there is not a way to keep the vacuum on. You have to hold the trigger down the entire time. I have a large house with large rooms. It would be nice to be able to leave it on. However, it's not a deal breaker!

Excellent product

This is our second cordless Dyson. It is an excellent product. We have dark hardwood floors that show all the dirt. Once or twice a day we use the Dyson to clean up. Takes two or three minutes. It's also terrific for cleaning the inside of a car. Don't know what we did without one of these. Just know I don't want to find out. It's an excellent, versatile, well made product.

The power selection switch is a great idea. The additional tool bag and tools added to the overall value. I have only had it for 1 week there fore I can only say it is a considerable improvement over the V^ i had and accidentally broke.

Estoy muy feliz de comprar esta aspiradora es muy liviana, potente y cuando se descarga rápido se vuelve a cargar y no necesita mucho espacio para instalarla estoy muy satisfecha se las recomiendo. Antes en mi casa nadie quería barrer ahora todos se pelean por barrer con Dyson jajajaja

Almost the Perfect Machine

My wife and I bought the Absolute V8 back on Black Friday of 2017. From the minute we started to use it we began to love it. This vacuum is the best vacuum we have ever owned and we have owned many brands including other Dyson models in our 23 years of marriage. We have several kids and a dog and this product has been able to help us clean up after them as well as keep the house free of dust and debris! There are only two very small issues I have with the product...one it should come with the option to switch out batteries as the machine does drain pretty quickly when using the max suction option and two, Dyson should send or make available an accessories caddy for all of the additional accessories that this product comes with (there are slots affixed to the charging wall mount for 2 accessories, however it would be nice to have an additional cradle for the other 4 accessories). Other than those two minor hiccups, this machine would be the perfect vacuum!

This vac is so easy to use and light weight.The battery last long enough for me to vac my 1800 square house . It is easy to empty and easy to clean.It over exceeded my expectations.I love it. It is worth the price if it last only one year however I expect it to last longer.It is the perfect vac for anyone who wants to make their work easy.really really easy !!!!!

Needs more complete instructions

I like the way the V8 works but it is a trial and error start. I didn't find the written instructions as complete as I would like: how can all the attachments best be used, how to easily empty the dust cup, etc. Not sorry I purchased, just taking longer than I would like to figure everything out.
