Almost the Perfect Machine

My wife and I bought the Absolute V8 back on Black Friday of 2017. From the minute we started to use it we began to love it. This vacuum is the best vacuum we have ever owned and we have owned many brands including other Dyson models in our 23 years of marriage. We have several kids and a dog and this product has been able to help us clean up after them as well as keep the house free of dust and debris! There are only two very small issues I have with the product...one it should come with the option to switch out batteries as the machine does drain pretty quickly when using the max suction option and two, Dyson should send or make available an accessories caddy for all of the additional accessories that this product comes with (there are slots affixed to the charging wall mount for 2 accessories, however it would be nice to have an additional cradle for the other 4 accessories). Other than those two minor hiccups, this machine would be the perfect vacuum!

This vac is so easy to use and light weight.The battery last long enough for me to vac my 1800 square house . It is easy to empty and easy to clean.It over exceeded my expectations.I love it. It is worth the price if it last only one year however I expect it to last longer.It is the perfect vac for anyone who wants to make their work easy.really really easy !!!!!

Needs more complete instructions

I like the way the V8 works but it is a trial and error start. I didn't find the written instructions as complete as I would like: how can all the attachments best be used, how to easily empty the dust cup, etc. Not sorry I purchased, just taking longer than I would like to figure everything out.

This is a real help for the whole house. The battery lasts long enough for thorough cleaning and is easy to maintain thanks to instruction videos on youtube. It s another great product from the Dyson ppl. I m really really happy with it.

Love my V8 Absolute thus far. Haven't had it very long, but am pleased with results, ease of use and no wrestling with a cord. The light weight of the vacuum is also a plus for this senior citizen! Only thing on my wish list would be the same as most, I imagine, a longer battery life, but I am able to live what has been given.

Love this vacuum

I love this vacuum. I live in a 3 story town home and have one in each floor. The V8 is amazing even though the wand has been getting stuck, which does not happen to my other ones. The amount of pet hair it sucks up is amazing. Love the design and installation but most of all the suction.
