it does everything from small jobs to whole rooms and is very convenient

when I first used it I found the unit to be top heavy but that is where the battery is and should be expected. This unit does everything except does not have the capacity of a shop vac and that is why I have a shop vac. I could not be happier with this unit I find myself cleaning more frequently because it is so convenient for wood floors and carpet and cars and small messes.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I love my Dyson vacuum cleaner. Gets the dog hair up from the hardwood floors and does a great job on the carpets.

Absolutely Love It!

I have been researching different lightweight vacuums for awhile because of an injured back and a rotary cuff injury. I already owned an Animal upright for eight years now and love the quality of Dyson. I wanted something I could use on a daily basis because of my dog and several cats. Lots of hair! I just used my new Dyson V8 Absolute for the first time today and could not believe how something so light and small could do such a fantastic job! I have no pain in my shoulder after cleaning my whole house! Thank you Dyson. I can't wait to try all the attachments!

It is very strong for a cordless machine. You can go everywhere with it because it is lightweight. I love it for cleaning my stairs.

Great tool

We have been challenged to keep our hard floors clean of debris. This does an amazing job of easily cleaning up the everyday messes that occur in any home. In addition, the vacuum does a good job on our carpeted surfaces as well.

I am absolutely in LOVE with this vacuum. It is so easy and fast and efficient, blows all other vacuums out of the water! I cannot believe I waited so long to own one of these. The first few times vacuuming with it, so much dust and debris came out of my "clean" carpets- so gross! And the hard floor attachment is amazing- you can pick up so much more dust and stuff than sweeping alone! And it is faster too, and so easy. Love this product!!

Amazing suction and portability

I used a neighbor’s Dyson and was amazed at the power, maneuverability, and general ease of use. I have a full size canister vac for whole house cleanup, but I wanted something I could grab for quick cleanup of pet hair and general cleanups. The V8 is perfect, and I really like the powered mini attachment for furniture. Also does a great job on my hardwood floors and area rugs. The amount of debris in the dirt cup even after a quick clean still shocks me. Great runtime too.
