Dies in 2 seconds

Have had the vacuum only a year and it is always hung and charging. Everytime I use it it dies within seconds. Otherwise I did love it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The V8 machine provides up to 40 minutes of run time, depending on the mode and combination of modes used. The powerful suction mode is ideal for the majority of the cleaning tasks. However, the machine also features a max mode, which is designed to be a temporary boost of power for particularly stubborn messes. As it is meant to be a temporary boost, the run time is a total of 8 minutes.

Too Heavy

I bought this vacuum and it’s very powerful; however, it is too heavy to keep my hand hold the power button during the entire time. There are several cordless vacuums that don’t require to hold the power button while you are using it.

Dyson cordless units will also operate with a run time enhancing light touch trigger, which helps ensure power is only used when you want to be cleaning. . This prevents power from being wasted while moving furniture or when going from one room to the next. The exception in this case would be our Dyson Omni-glide™ machines, which operate with a push button. I have a black Labrador, brown chihuahua, and long haired black cat. My floors are light in color. So when the black and brown hairs are on the floor, which is daily, I will get out my trusty Dyson and Voila, my floors are clean with just a little effort on my part. My dyson is like the ever ready bunny, always ready. I give it the highest rating of all

This vacuum is easy to use, lightweight and does the job well. I have two cats so there's lots of hair - no problems cleaning it up with this. Easy to dump when it's time.
