Love. I'm retiring as a mosquito serial killer as of this moment. Thermacell has made that possible. Jungle backyard in New Orleans, mosquito paradise. If they'd only make a flea repellent....

The very best

I bought this 2 weeks ago and have used it every night since. Before I purchased this my wife and I could not sit on our deck in the evening without being over run with mosquitos. Now we sit all evening mosquito free. As I said in the title it's the very best. Thank you.

Patio nights bug free

We recently were given a Thermacell Patio Shield and we immediately tried it out on our patio from 6PM to almost midnight! There were 5 people hanging out around it and no one was bothered by mosquitos! We can see from the pad that we have more time left to use it before it turns all white. We are very impressed and happy with this device. We were unaware prior to getting this that our friends up in Northern Maine swear by their Thermacell for all their outdoor summer activities! Don't hesitate to purchase one and give it a try!

Does work but...

I got my new Thermacell Patio 2 weeks ago plus a 48hr refill. I was happy to ditch the old smoking coils. But after using it for 2-3 hrs a day. I now have run out of refills, and timed the cartridges durastion, and most last 6-8 hrs, so not 12 hrs like advertised. so very disapointed, back to coils....:(
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

There outdoor elements could effective the time of refill repellency. The refills should last in a range of 8 to up to 12 hrs depending on the elements of outside. Please reach out to Thermacell directly at customerservice@thermacell.net to make this right for you.

Expensive refills.

We bought this for our porch/patio. It works very well. Buuut, we run out of fuel well before the pads. You need to buy these parts/supplies separately. Ideally, the fuel cell should be refillable.
