Lightest weight vacuum I have ever used

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum defies physics! It is incredibly lightweight (less than 6 lbs) but has a super strong motor and great suction power. I used it on both rugs and hardwood floors and it performed well on both surfaces. I like that there is an option to shut off the roller brush right next to the power switch. No having to switch it on or off at the brush or floor level. The dirt cup is easy to empty and the filters are both washable. Reassembly is also intuitive and fast. One feature I really like is the ability to fully remove the roller brush for cleaning. With other vacuums I have had to spend a long time trying to remove hair and string that was tightly wrapped around the brush roller using scissors. While that still happens with the Bissell, cleaning the brush is much faster and easier. Using the handheld part of the vacuum is also very easy. It pops off the main vacuum with one button push, the tools go on easily, and the suction is amazing for such a lightweight tool. The one thing I don’t love is that the charging port is at the bottom and backside of the vacuum and it only goes in one way. So you have to get down on the floor and carefully line up the plug with the receptacle. But other than that, I love this small but powerful vacuum.

Handy little Vacuum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an awesome little vacuum! It brings an ease to cleaning that I hadn’t experienced before in a couple of different ways. Most notably:
-It’s great for crumbs under the table and around the edges of the kitchen. I dislike using my big, heavy corded vacuum on hard floor because it seems to spread the mess with its air output, but this vacuum doesn’t send air out along the front, so it’s great for hardwood floors.
-It’s lightweight and small, so vacuuming the stairs is easy—not a test of upper body strength.
-It has strong enough suction to fill itself with dog hair when I vacuum under my bed, my dog’s preferred sleeping spot. Because of its ultra-mobile handle, I can actually vacuum under my entire king size bed, which is HUGE. That right there is reason enough to own this vacuum.
-But the other reason to own it? It’s so lightweight and easy to use that my kids (ages 11, 8, and 6) can all use it and even fight over who gets to vacuum! It’s not corded, so they don’t have to find outlets or worry about vacuuming over the cord. It’s simple to clean out, too. My 11 year old is particularly fond of its teal accent color. Truth be told, I haven’t found a permanent spot to store it, so it’s been parked by the piano since we got it, and I don’t even hate that because it’s cute.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A vacuum is a necessity in my household. With 2 small children, a cat, and a Husky if I don’t vacuum at least twice a day, we will live covered in crumbs and fur. Needless to say I was very excited to try this lightweight cordless vacuum. It was very easy to assemble out of the box, it’s two pieces you connect and you’re ready to go. However, I was very disappointed. The pros are that it’s small and lightweight enough for my seven and three year old to use to vacuum their room. Does it do an okay job of cleaning a small low traffic areas? Yes. Does it have enough suction power to vacuum a high traffic area? Absolutely not. I found myself having to go over the same spots multiple times to get basic little kid crumbs (sand, crackers, etc) out of the floor. While this is a great vacuum to touch up between main cleans or maybe for someone who doesn’t have a lot of “mess”, I wouldn't suggest it for a main household cordless vacuum.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

An Incredible Value

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really impressed with this cordless vac! Even though it’s lightweight, it is sturdy and powerful. I was delighted by the two-in-one functionality - I can use it as an upright or handheld depending on the type of mess I’m cleaning up. I have another cordless handheld vac and this one has stronger suction, making it easier and quicker to pick up spills from my two young boys. I also like how deeply it cleans my rugs (I can really feel and see the vacuum getting in there!). I appreciate how easily it swivels underneath furniture and into corners. This vac performs like it should be selling at a higher price point, making it an incredible value.

Lightweight and Compact

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Right out of the box, I liked it. It's small, compact, and lightweight. I don't have a huge home, but fighting with a big, heavy vacuum for my hardwood floors is no fun.
The suction is decent. I have a cat and 2 German Shepherds, so there's a lot of pet hair in my home on a daily basis. It's pretty efficient in cleaning the clumps of hair. However, there are times that a pile of hair is too much and the hair gets stuck on the side of the vacuum. But no worries, just pull it out and it sucks it right up.
It's ok under furniture. I guess I have a lot of low sitting furniture, so it doesn't quite reach some places. There's no hose attachment, so I can't get far under my couch or chairs. But in the bedroom, it glides under the bed with ease to get those pesky dust bunnies.
Overall, I think it's a great little machine. I've opted to keep it in the bedroom for daily vacuuming of our sleeping space since our one dog always sleeps in our room and the cat sleeps in the bed, so there is always hair! It's not the most high quality vacuum I've had, but it's gets the job done. The cup is smaller than I was expecting, so emptying debris happens often. And the battery lasts about 20 minutes before having to recharge. With the size of my home and the amount of pet hair, that's not as long as I hoped, which is why I have opted to make this the bedroom vacuum!
Overall, it's a great addition, especially for the cost.

Good Enough

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The ReadyClean® Cordless 10.8V is functional and powerful. However, it does not quite measure up to the power of its corded siblings. While able to clean up everyday messes very well, its not something that I would use for a good deep cleaning/vacuuming. The ReadyClean is a solid pick for every day clean ups! Additionally, it navigates around and under most furniture seamlessly. For a cordless vacuum its suction is solid! Its light weight and very nimble. My favorite part about the ReadyClean Cordless vacuum is that it can pick up everyday run of the mill messes very quickly.

Lightweight yet effective

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very impressed with the ReadyClean Cordless vacuum by Bissell! The vacuum is super lightweight, yet it cleans so well! Even my 4 year old and move the vacuum around, which shows how light it is. Having the handheld vacuum stored in the vacuum is very convenient and saves a ton of space. It also allows you to clean multiple areas at the same time without having to have multiple devices. The colors are fun! The vacuum is easy to empty and to clean. Whether you’re using this in an apartment or two story home, it is impressive and can be used by many. The battery lasted for my entire upstairs and had no problems going over rugs, carpets, and tile. We have 2 dogs and 2 cats and it effectively cleaned up litter and hair. Very impressed!

Great helper to a busy dad

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, I’m happy with the ReadyClean Cordless 10.8V. It’s lightweight, easy to maneuver, and works well for everyday cleaning around the house. I especially liked the removable handheld vacuum, as it detached and snapped back into place easily, making it convenient for cleaning furniture, stairs, and other small messes.
Another feature I appreciated was being able to turn the brush roller on and off. It made switching between different floor surfaces simple and gave me a little more control depending on what I was cleaning. I also really liked that the long handle folds down, making the vacuum much easier to store in a closet or other small space.
The suction was strong enough for everyday dirt, dust, and crumbs, and the slim design made it easy to get under furniture and into tighter spaces.
My only real complaint is the charging cord connection. It wasn’t as convenient or as secure as I would have liked, and I think a charging dock or improved connector would make the experience even better.
Overall, this is a convenient, lightweight vacuum that’s great for quick cleanups and everyday use. The removable handheld vacuum, fold-down handle, and brush roller control make it a versatile option for anyone looking for an easy-to-store cordless vacuum.
