For quick simple cleaning, not deep cleaning

This 2-in-1 Cordless Vacuum is designed for pet messes also clean hard-to-reach areas around the home. It's easy and quick to assembly, clean and store til next use. It being cordless was nice not having to worry about how far the cord would reach when moving to different areas of the house. The lightweight construction provides a versatile cleaning solution for anywhere in the house. I also love the multifunction of the vacuum. It acts as a regular upright vacuum, but also can be detached with the push of a button, to turn into a handheld vacuum for hard to reach places. However, it would have been better if the handheld vacuum attachments included, could be stored on the base, otherwise it defeats the ability to quickly move to handheld vacuum. Another great feature is the 2-way folding handle, which allows for convenient reach far under furniture and collapses for easy, compact storage. Again, would have been nice if the accessories were stored on board. It includes swivel steering to make vacuuming around furniture easier, and its Brush Roll ON/OFF switch is right at your fingers, so you can seamlessly move from hard surfaces to low pile carpets without worrying about switching machines. It picks up crumbs, dust bunnies, and shedding hair very well from hardwood floors, tile, or carpeting. Maybe a little more suction power would be nice. The Bissell Powerlifter ION vacuum has about a 20-minute vacuuming life cycle before it needs recharging, which has a LED light that flashes to warn you. I like that it holds charge for next use. Dust bin is small but adequate if emptied after every use. It gets the job done with minimal effort. If you're looking for a midlevel, lightweight, simple vacuum, I would suggest this product. If you're looking for a deep clean for your entire house or carpeted areas, I would say this isn't the one to get.

This vacuum cleaner is very lightweight. It holds a charge for much longer than you’ll need to get your floors clean (for a normal home cleaning). It is not heavy duty and is more for light work. The handheld detaches making it an awesome tool. If you want a vacuum that is very light and easy to maneuver, this is it. My only recommendation would be for BISSELL to design a way to add the two accessories. It would make it a lot easier when you’re cleaning. I modified mine by using two way adhesive to permanently attach the two parts; that way when I’m cleaning I don’t have to look for them, they are attached to the arm of the vacuum.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Can I give this a -2⭐️ rating?? I'm stopping mid-cleaning my house to sit down and write this review about how god awful this vacuum is. My husband legitimately had to stop me from tossing it onto our front yard because when I tell you it can't even suck up a piece of dog food, or goldfish crumbs from my kids, let alone any dog hair- even the clumped together dust balls just begging to be sucked up. We received this vacuum as a gift from my mom and I find myself borderline angry at her for the purchase We have 2 small children and 2 dogs which makes for a lot of mess, but I'm telling you DO NOT buy this vacuum if there is even a single life form in your household. Save yourself the frustration.

Not worth it

Wanted a vacuum for our bathroom just to clean up cat litter. What got was a lack of picking up a grain of litter. Maybe i got a bad one, but money not well spent. Can not use it on my carpet for quick runs. Battery last, charges fast, but nothing else.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am in love with this lightweight, compact pet vacuum. It is cordless and comes with the charging cord to charge it. The charging port is on the back and the front will flash red when charging. It can be used as a full vacuum or it has a hand held version that detaches right from the front. It includes a few attachment heads for the hand held as well. I like to use the handheld for my furniture and to dust the edges of my wall. The whole vacuum handle folds so it can be easily stored and it can be taken on the go as well. The suction is amazing on it, it picks up my cats hair and helps keeps it at bay. It works on hardwood floors and carpets which I love. I use this all over my home!!! Will never switch brands.

Powerful Cordless and Convenient Cleaning

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I greeted the Bissell ReadyClean Cordless Vacuum with curious skepticism. Having used several vacuums in the past I knew the benefits and drawbacks of corded and cordless vacuums. I tried a Eureka cordless vacuum in the past and the battery took over 12 hours to charge for just 15-20 minutes of vacuuming power, with the suction power being extremely light. I also had a cordless vacuum by Puweike which constantly fell down because I didn't mount the stand against the wall as I had mostly dry wall in my place. I prefer cordless vacuums because even though the corded vacuums owned by Hoover and Oreck offer more power, they are a pain to move from room to room due to having to constantly disconnect and reconnect the cord. The Bissell ReadyClean Cordless Vacuum addressed all of these concerns and offered some unexpected surprises. This vacuum took less than one minute to assemble with only two parts to put together. I only had to charge the battery for four hours until it was ready to use. Upon charging it, I noticed the vacuum stands upright, so there is no need to add any mounted stand to the wall as it can be stored anywhere. I also love that I could turn on the brush roll on carpet and off on the hardwood to prevent scratching. The suction is extremely powerful to pick up even the smallest crumbs and I couldn't believe how easy it is to maneuver with the handle folding to get under the sofa. There is a huge bonus to this vacuum as well with the detachable middle which becomes a handheld vacuum for sofas and chairs. Another bonus is the brush and crevice tool for corners and upholstery. The dirt bin is so easy to empty and put back in the vacuum as well. I would recommend the Bissell ReadyClean Cordless Vacuum to all my friends and family. Owning this cordless vacuum is a delight in every way possible.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a neat freak and have tried plenty of sweepers, mops, brooms, etc. I have come to find anytime I see the BISSELL name that I can fully trust it's going to work phenomenally. This Powerlifter Ion Pet couldn't have a better name. It is extremely powerful on all of my dogs pet hair, dirt, dust while being unbelievably light weight. The removable hand vacuum that is attached is just as strong. 10/10 would recommend this product to anyone I know.

Worst Bissell product I've EVER purchased or used. Item died a slow death over time. Id go over over visible dirt only to see this vacuum spit it back out the back. I did everything the owners manual stated to know avail. Very frustrating and a waste of time and energy. I gave it a nick name. The Fisher Price toy vac. My only relief was on trash day to see it hauled off to the great landfill somewhere. Prompty ordered a new LG based on Consumer Reports reviews. Do your homework first everyone.
