Bissell vacuum as good as others

I was a bit hesitant trying out this Bissell cordless vacuum because I already have an different one that I love using. However I must say I was impressed! First off, it came charged right out of the box so I could use it immediately. There are some minor assembly instructions but I assembled it without any instruction. Very easy and simple to use! I love the fact that the reusable filter IS reusable and easy to clean under running water. A plus for me! It stands upright without support and has great suction. I like that it has a removable handheld vacuum so I used it on my baseboards but unfortunately it was too big to fit under my cupboards. It also works much better on flat tile than carpet. I have long hair and it doesn’t pick up all the hair. That was a bummer but overall I am very pleased with this vacuum. I will put it in my vacuum rotation!

FINALLY a vacuum the whole family can use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a mom of 5 (ages toddler through high school), I am constantly chasing crumbs, cracker dust, and whatever mystery mess my toddler has created in the 30 seconds I wasn't looking. So when I tell you this vacuum has become a permanent fixture in our kitchen, I mean it.
Overall impression / lightweight design: I was honestly shocked at how light this thing is. I have older kids in elementary through high school, and every single one of them can pick this up and use it without complaining that it's "too heavy" (a real excuse I've heard about our old vacuum more times than I can count). It doesn't feel cheap or flimsy either — just genuinely easy to maneuver, even one-handed.
Suction strength: I wasn't expecting much from something this lightweight, but it actually keeps up with our daily chaos — cereal, crushed crackers, dirt tracked in from the backyard, you name it. It's not going to replace a deep-clean upright for serious carpet messes, but for the everyday stuff five kids generate? It's more than powerful enough.
Ease of use around the house / under furniture: This is where it really won me over. Setup took maybe 30 seconds — you just snap the top and bottom together, and you're done. It charges right on its stand, so it's always ready to grab. The handle folds down flat for storage, which is a huge deal in our house since we don't have a ton of closet space. And being cordless means my kids can actually get under the couch, around table legs, and into corners without wrestling a cord behind them.
What I liked most: Honestly, the 2-in-1 design. The fact that you can pop off the handheld vacuum from the middle is genius — my elementary-aged kiddo prefers using just the handheld for quick spot cleanups, while my older kids use the full upright version to do a quick pass through the whole house. Everyone has a way to use it that works for them, which means more hands helping and less of it all falling on me.
If you've got kids who make messes faster than you can clean them (so... all kids), this vacuum is worth it. It's simple enough that even my elementary schooler can use it independently, and powerful enough that I trust the job actually gets done.

Great everyday vacuum cleaner

The first thing I noticed was how lightweight and easy it is to carry around the house. It’s easy to maneuver, gets under furniture without much effort, and works well on different floor surfaces.
The suction power is decent for everyday cleaning, but it’s not the strongest. If you have thick or high-pile carpets, this probably isn’t the best choice because it can struggle with deep cleaning. However, for daily messes like dust, crumbs, and pet hair on hard floors or low-pile rugs, it does the job well.
My favorite feature is how versatile and convenient it is. I find myself reaching for it all the time because it’s quick to grab and easy to use. Overall, I think it’s great option for everyday maintenance, especially if you want a lightweight vacuum that’s simple to use around the house.

Great for smaller jobs

Pro:
Light weight - Doesn’t feel like a chore to pull it out of the closet to take care of a light mess

Convertible - I was able to quickly and intuitively switch to hand held mode.
More powerful than expected - swept up a lot of cat hair from my low profile rug (but was useless on my shag rug).
Great on hard wood floors - like an electric broom. No dust pan needed. I no longer have to bend over like a chump.
Dust Bin - Easy to clean. Just pop it off and dump the contents in the trash.
Cons
Attachments - feel flimsy and are cumbersome to change. Feel like they will get misplaced because the unit doesn’t have a caddy. I will more than likely lose them in the depths of my closet.
Battery life - I understand this is for small jobs but I found it losing power after 15 minutes of use.
Charging - takes about an hour to recharge.

Overall - it’s a fine for smaller spaces or as a 2nd vacuum to keep in a spare room or the other side of the house but don’t expect it to handle big jobs that require heavy suction or a whole house with its limited battery life.

Great vacuum cleaner

to have around. Because of the fold down handle, I am able to store this little vacuum cleaner tucked into a corner in my kitchen where is it out of sight, but still convenient for quick cleanups. The lighyweight design and forward folding handle make it easy to maneuver under and around furniture. As a busy homeschooling mom of boys, we are reaching for this vacuum several times a day. Whether it’s cleaning up crumbs after snacks, or deeper cleans under the couch cushions, this little vacuum is strong enough to handle it all. I love the handhled unit which is easy to detach, and I’ve used this for quick cleanup jobs in my car as well as around the house. The attachments are great for cleaning area rugs and upholstered furniture. I use this vacuum cleaner daily, and my kids even reach for it without me asking them to. I will continue to use my larger vacuum for deep cleaning, but this vacuum is working perfectly for daily messes and crumbs.

Great compact vacuum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great compact vacuum for small spaces! I love that it’s cordless and that it can detach the smaller vacuum for smaller clean ups. It’s perfect for a a small apartment. Suction power is better than I expected but not as strong on the smaller attachment. It fits perfectly in my hallway closet and stands up on its own when it’s retracted into the smallest size. I’ve been using it almost everyday and battery power last multiple uses over several days. I don’t recommend it if you have pet hair as I think you would need something with more suction power. We have a lot of dust come thru since we leave our windows open. It is great for sweeping alternative in a pinch.

Amazing Light Weight Cordless Vacuum

The Bissell ReadyClean Cordless 10.8V Stick Vacuum is unbelievably good at sucking up food crumbs and dirt in tight spaces, especially beneath my kitchen table where my grandkids eat. I didn’t think it would work well because it’s so lightweight. But I was so wrong! It even easily sucked up about a million tiny pieces of paper after I accidentally emptied the bin from my paper shredder onto my carpet instead of the wastebasket!
I love that this vacuum is lightweight, cordless and transforms into a hand held vacuum with the click of a button. I received this vacuum for free from the Stellar Product Testing Panel in exchange for my honest review…but I would have happily paid for it because it’s that good.

Light and breezy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The ReadyClean Cordless 10.8V is great. It’s easy to use, lightweight and charges fairly quickly. With a dog that sheds, this is a must have, especially for quick spot cleaning. The suction on the vacuum seems to work well and haven’t had any issues with the hose clogging. I love the teal color as it brings a pop of color when cleaning.
