Compact but Lacks Suction

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The ReadyClean Cordless 10.8V vacuum is very compact! The handle easily bends at an angle to lower the vacuum to the ground to pick up stuff under furniture without having the crouch down (which definitely saves my back). It was so lightweight that even my kids could maneuver it.
The suction strength was okay. It could pick up small crumbs. However it was not able to easily pick up Cheerios on the ground, unless you detached the smaller, handheld vacuum.
I do love the smaller vacuum that is built right into the main vacuum. It is extremely easy to detach, use, and put back. I was able to easily vacuum my child’s high chair booster seat which is prone to crumbs multiple times daily!

Perfect back up or small space vacuum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My qualifications: mil spouse who has vacuumed a hundred different homes, mom of 24 years, pet owner. I have 5 humans and one furry cat in 5600 sq ft. I vacuum nearly every day. My house is a 60/40 split carpet and hard flooring.
The vacuum is great, and it delivers! Here are the biggest pros: looks great, detachable handheld vacuum is powerful and works well with attachments, it is very light, the motorized brush helps a lot. Perfect for stairs and cleaning up messes. Charges quickly. Easy to empty and clean out.
For my purposes, I use it to vacuum our carpeted stairs and to transport to other floors for quick cleaning, when I don’t want to lug my main vacuum around.
I think this would be a perfect small-living space vacuum. You get the convenience of a stick vacuum with the power of a corded one. I have no data that suggests this wouldn’t work well for my whole house, but I would probably need to recharge and empty multiple times.
I am a firm believer in having more than one vacuum, so I love keeping this one where I can do a quick vacuum of the kitchen and pet areas before bed, saving more deep cleaning for my workhorse beast of a vacuum.
Check out my son deftly handling the stairs. He can also carry it downstairs and take care of that floor. A vacuum a kid can take between floors?? Sold! Love this little thing and I highly recommend!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bissell ReadyClean® Cordless 10.8V Vacuum is the one you want to get if you’re looking to teach your little ones some responsibility with household chores! My 5 year old was able to unbox the vacuum and assemble it himself in under 2 minutes. It was that easy. Not to mention, it’s SUPER light. We have a multi-generational family property, and my son (5) is able to carry the vacuum between our house and the grandparents’ house easily.
We love that this vacuum is cordless and lightweight. It has become our new daily go-to for quick mess cleanups because it’s fast and efficient. The suction does a great job on our hard floors. We don’t have carpet, only a few rugs, and the brush roll has done a great job on those as well!
I also love how quiet this vacuum is! My son has become a little obsessed with wanting to vacuum throughout the day, so the fact that it’s less noisy than our other vacuums is very much appreciated.
Another small detail I appreciate is that the handle folds down. Our home is on the smaller side (about 1,400 square feet), and being able to tuck it away in the pantry has been incredibly handy! The vacuum is also very slim and is able to reach farther under furniture than any of my other vacuums. Not having to move every chair has been really nice!
I really like that the vacuum has the option to convert into a handheld vacuum. I will say, though, this is one of the few things I was less impressed with. The angle of the opening on the handheld makes it a little difficult to get good suction in small areas, like along thin baseboards. It works much better on flatter surfaces. I recommend making sure it’s completely empty when using it as a handheld vacuum. We tried using it once when the dustbin was fairly full, and some dirt came back out through the opening while we were cleaning.
As far as the battery life goes, it gets the job done for our smaller home. It definitely seems to last about 30–40 minutes before needing to be charged again. I can see that being an issue in a much larger home, but for us, it’s just fine!
Overall, we love the ReadyClean Cordless 10.8V and have made it our daily cleaner! We would definitely buy it again and recommend it to anyone looking for a lightweight, convenient, and efficient vacuum for everyday use without the hassle of cords!

Love love love

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum is a dream. It is very lightweight and easy to maneuver from room to room. It is not bulky so it is easy to charge and store. It reaches in hard to reach places due to its small size and ability to bend. I also LOVE that I can just press a button and have a small handheld vacuum making it even easier to vacuum up messes in any place! It has great suction strength and even works on hardwood floors. I’ve had no problems with getting any messes up so far (even popcorn!!). This is my new go-to for a quick clean!

Fantastic lightweight vacuum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love a great vacuum. I need a great vacuum in my home with 2 young (messy) children, and 2 cats that shed (a lot)! I put this vacuum to the test immediately upon delivery, and haven’t looked back since-I haven’t even touched our old vacuum. Don’t let its small size, and lightweight design fool you, it packs a punch and has great suction that you can really feel when in use. Our home is around 1,000 square feet, and I can do a quick vacuum of every room on one charge, but for a more deep clean, I sometimes do have to recharge. My favorite thing about this vacuum, is the flexible head. It is so easy to vacuum under furniture and beds, and it swivels around so seamlessly, it makes going around furniture very easy! Absolutely love my new vacuum and look forward to seeing how it holds up with future use!

Game Changer for Busy Homes with Kids and Pets

To give you an idea of what it’s up against, we have two boys under 8, two dogs (including a 2-year-old Golden Retriever), and two cats. I use it every morning, and it’s become my go-to vacuum for keeping up with everyday messes.
One of my favorite things about this vacuum is how lightweight it is. It’s easy to carry, lift, and maneuver around furniture, and it’s light enough that my 5-year-old can even help vacuum. The suction is strong enough for our daily needs. It easily picks up pet hair, cat litter, dirt, and everyday debris from our hardwood floors and carpets. It doesn’t perform as well on our thin area rugs, but for a quick refresh of all our floor surfaces, it does a fantastic job. Since having it, I have only taken our big vacuum out once in the last 3 weeks.
Because of the light weight and suctions, It’s incredibly easy to use around the house. It glides well across different flooring types, gets around furniture without any hassle, and makes daily cleaning quick and convenient. My favorite feature is how convenient it is. Because it’s cordless and lightweight, I can grab it for a quick clean instead of dragging out our larger vacuum. It has made staying on top of pet hair and kid messes so much easier. The battery life has also been impressive for our daily use. I only need to charge it every other day, sometimes every two days.
Overall, I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a lightweight cordless vacuum that’s perfect for everyday cleaning and keeping up with a busy household.

Great for everyday use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I opened the box for my new Bissell ReadyClean® Cordless 10.8V I was concerned that this vacuum I had received for review was not going to work for me. It’s smaller than I expected, certainly smaller than the cordless upright vacuum I’m used to using. I was worried that this would mean it couldn’t clean as well, but I was wrong! This is perfect for vacuuming up all the everyday messes in my house: granola bits on the kitchen floor, crumbs under the dining room table, dust and dirt in the hallways. I like that it’s so light and easy to just grab whenever I need a quick clean, it barely weighs more than a broom. I also love that it stands up on its own without needing to fold it up, which is something the last few cordless vacuums I’ve had never did and makes this so much more convenient to grab and use quickly. The vacuum part disconnects to become a hand vacuum, which is way easier to use to clean my stairs or inside the couch or at the back of a closet, etc. than my other vacuum. I only have a few area rugs in my house, and wasn’t too optimistic about the power of this on those rugs (especially not my daughter’s shag rug), but this exceeded my expectations! For everyday cleaning this seemed to do the job, picking up hair, lint, etc just fine. I’m not confident it would completely replace a full powered vacuum on carpet, especially in a house with pets (I have none), but for cleaning here and there it’s great and much less stress on my back and shoulders. There’s also a cool feature I didn’t expect: a trigger on the handle unlocks a joint in the upright part of the vacuum so it can bend under furniture easier and I don’t have to bend over as much. Just a little bonus that makes this even more ergonomic to use! Overall, my expectations were exceeded.

This MVP Vac is Light Enough for a Toddler to Use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m very happy with this light little stick vacuum! We have a messy household with two young children, a dog and a cat. The combo handheld and stick vacuum is super useful for tidying up daily messes in the house and the car. The handheld worked great for cleaning up my daughter’s car seat, and the stick vac had no problem handling spilled Cheerios and dirt/debris by the doors. It’s not your go-to for deep cleaning, but I use it way more often than my heavy-duty vacuum.
My favorite part is how lightweight it is! Even my 13mo can use it by himself. Plus, it’s not nearly as loud as the big vacuum, so the tiny humans don’t run away screaming and covering their ears when I pull this out. It’s great for the stairs too since it’s so lightweight and easy to maneuver. I also love that it’s easy to empty and it folds up so small. I’ve never seen a feature like that in another vacuum.
My only minor wish is that it had a way to store the accessories so that they don’t get lost.
Overall, it’s been an amazing addition to our cleaning arsenal and made daily tidying of our busy household way easier.
