[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having used several vacuums in the past I knew the benefits and drawbacks of corded and cordless vacuums. I tried a Eureka cordless vacuum in the past and the battery took over 12 hours to charge for just 15-20 minutes of vacuuming power, with the suction power being extremely light. I also had a cordless vacuum by Puweike which constantly fell down because I didn't mount the stand against the wall as I had mostly dry wall in my place. I prefer cordless vacuums because even though the corded vacuums owned by Hoover and Oreck offer more power, they are a pain to move from room to room due to having to constantly disconnect and reconnect the cord. The Bissell ReadyClean Cordless Vacuum addressed all of these concerns and offered some unexpected surprises. This vacuum took less than one minute to assemble with only two parts to put together. I only had to charge the battery for four hours until it was ready to use. Upon charging it, I noticed the vacuum stands upright, so there is no need to add any mounted stand to the wall as it can be stored anywhere. I also love that I could turn on the brush roll on carpet and off on the hardwood to prevent scratching. The suction is extremely powerful to pick up even the smallest crumbs and I couldn't believe how easy it is to maneuver with the handle folding to get under the sofa. There is a huge bonus to this vacuum as well with the detachable middle which becomes a handheld vacuum for sofas and chairs. Another bonus is the brush and crevice tool for corners and upholstery. The dirt bin is so easy to empty and put back in the vacuum as well. I would recommend the Bissell ReadyClean Cordless Vacuum to all my friends and family.

Lightweight with good Suction

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Okay so I'm going to tell you the good the bad and the needle of this vacuum. First I'd like to disclose that I got this vacuum free and exchange for an honest review. Overall I like this vacuum and I think it's going to be great to have on hand. I suffer from autoimmune disorders that make daily tasks like housework difficult to do sometimes. This vacuum is about half as light as my other vacuum is. This makes it easier for me to push around and maneuver through my house which meant I was able to vacuum more often. The vacuum swivels easily to get underneath tables and chairs and even bends down for the places past that although I've almost never had to use that feature so far I do like that it has it. This gets up pet for with ease. When I used it the first time I didn't think my carpet was super dirty but the amount of pet hair it pulled up was impressive! As you can see by the picture it got a gross amount of dust and pet hair out of my carpet this came from about a 10-ft by 6 ft square patch of carpet. I enjoyed that it has a detachable handheld vacuum so I can do things like clean the top of the kids furniture or the seating in the front room without lugging the vacuum around. This also makes it applicable for quick cleanouts of my car which rocked. This is a cordless vacuum that needs recharged before you. The front of the vacuum blinks red and green to help you easily understand when it's charging and when it's done and ready. While I like this vacuum all there were a few negative sides to consider. Firstly while this vacuum does super awesome on hair it did struggle a little bit with larger pieces of debris. So if your kids like to leave paper trash around the house long bits of fuzz or anything bigger than about a quarter this vacuum is going to need to go over it a second or third time. The canister only hold about half as much dirt as my other vacuum so it needs empty more. But I really think this is a worthwhile vacuum if you have pets!
