Lightweight, convenient, and great for pet hair pickup!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks to Bissell for the free Ion PowerLifter Pet to try out and review! I was in the market for a new vacuum cleaner for the upstairs area of our home where our pet mainly stays. I hated lugging our big vacuum up the stairs for regular cleaning so I was excited to try a Bissell cordless option. At first use, I loved how lightweight and easy it was to use. Because the head was so lightweight, I doubted whether the suction power would be strong enough for my carpet and area rugs. After a few uses, I have been pleasantly surprised with how much it picks up--especially pet hair! The detachable handheld vacuum is very convenient for edges and quick messes, but I think I will use it mostly as an everyday vacuum for regular pet hair cleanup. The picture shows how much pet hair it picked up on my carpet and area rug AFTER running my normal, heavy bag vacuum. The only reason I am not giving five stars is because there is no docking station included for hanging and I would like a few more attachments for use on furniture especially. Overall, I am very happy with this vacuum and think it will get a lot of use!

Lightweight and compact

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have so many great things to say about this vacuum but I will start off by saying how lightweight it is. I have a regular size vacuum that is great but sometimes I dread taking it out because of how heavy and bulky it is but I keep this one in the corner of my kitchen and use it every time after meals because the kids are always dropping food on the floor. Another feature I am stoked about is the fact that the handheld part of the vacuum fully comes out and you can easily attach one of the two tools that it comes with it; the upholster and crevice tool. As for the suction, it is good but not great but then again this is a small lightweight vacuum and does a good job at quick cleaning for both floors and carpet. As for the battery life, I would say that you can use it for about 25 - 30 minutes on a full charge, which brings me to the same point that this one is perfect for a quick cleaning rather than a full cleaning. Now, one thing that was a fail for me was the vacuum not having a space to keep the accessories so you have to keep them elsewhere and they're not handy when you need them. Overall, it's a great compact vacuum, easy to store, lightweight and I definitely recommend for a every day cleaning.

This is perfect on floors and carpet and really does a good job on both. Plus you can buy replacement filters which make it last even longer. The handle folds to reach under furniture and to make it smaller to store in small places. Great vacuum!
