good on hard floors, but flawed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really wanted to love the Bissell ReadyClean Cordless Stick Vacuum, but I just don't. The design and color is so cute and a nice size for storage in our small condo. I really needed a vacuum that could handle my English bulldog's hair everywhere. This works great on picking up the dust and hair off my laminate floors, but it won't even turn on with my rug, where I really need it. The clicking piece which attaches the handheld to the stick was also already broken, hence the rubber band keeping the two main pieces together. I would expect better product results from a reliable brand like Bissell.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great little vacuum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bissell sent me the PowerLifter Ion Pet 2-in-1 Cordless Vacuum for free so that I could review it. Right out of the box, it is so simple to assemble, with no tools necessary. It is very lightweight but does have pretty decent suction. I've got an old rug that is a little frayed on one end so it's got a couple of long threads (about 4-5 inches) when I went over them the vacuum automatically turned itself off but once I moved away from the frayed edge it turned right back on. Emptying the canister is a breeze as well as clearing the hair off the brush roll. The attachments are easy to insert and work well. My one complaint is that it takes hours to recharge the battery to only be able to use it for 15 minutes.

Works great! Is light but weighted right so that it pushes nice. Picks up an atrocious amount of yuck. It's fantastic!

I am in a wheelchair and the Bisssell I have had for a few years was to heavy to manage. I needed something light. This vacuum is light and very easy to use. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is really the perfect solution for city living. It's small, lightweight and compact but delivers enough power for regular use. The detachable handheld vacuum makes it great to bring out to the car too! I've always been a big fan of BISSELL vacuums. In fact, my main vacuum is a BISSELL too. with a cat in the house it can make cleanup a nightmare with fur everywhere. this ReadyClean vacuum has already been put to the test and is still ready to come back for more. easy to toss into any closet but also slim and stylish enough that it could be left in the open too! I also loved the extra flexibility of the handle to help get the right angle to reach under the couch. Absolutely perfect and happy to recommend to anyone!
