Takes practice to master, maybe the bristles are too short

Early adopter here. I was also an early adopter of the magnificent "dirt devil whiskers robotic" that also took practice to master-- "bad user techniques" were generally the issue of complaints with most robotic cleaners, and not the fault of the robot. (At the moment, I cannot use my wonderful robots because I have a misbehaving cat.) This was not the case with the broom vac. I bought two, one for each part of the "all tile" house. The battery was generous enough for each part of the house. The weight was as expected. The angle to hold the broom for good suction is awkward. I understand that new products need user practice to maximize usefulness, but, this product needs tweaking. I think the bristles are too short. The vacuum was strong enough to pull the debris into the cup. The debris, crumbs, cat food, and cat hair in the dirt cup was remarkable. Maybe I was going too fast, but I found I had to go over the tile floor twice to get rid of the "crunchies". So, I will retry with a slower, more deliberate hand and a better angle and try to figure out how the little wheels work.

I've read a few reviews and as far as I'm concerned the product works at advertised. Doesn't pick up the debris? Angle the suction port closer to the floor... problem eliminated. Dust cup hitting the furniture you're trying to get under? Flip the broom over in the other direction. These are simple solutions to silly problems. There's a bit of a learning curve because you can't use it like a broom or a vacuum. But once you figure it out the product does what it's intended to do. I work on and repair vacuums on the side and personally own over 100 different ones. I have no complaints with this product.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just didn't work like I was hoping it would with dogs and kinds alway in and out of the house it didn't sweep and suck up the dirt like I thought. Good for sweeping it in the dust pan and getting that little line of dirt that's always left

When I put the broom vac together at home, it seemed like nothing more than a glorified broom and I wanted to be proved wrong more than anything. The bristles on the broom were so short and stiff - it was difficult to get into the corners of my kitchen and the pet hair wouldn't release from them. The vacuum itself was in a really weird spot so that the only way I could get it to be effective enough was to flip the broom around and it just... didn't work for my needs. Aside from paying for return shipping, the return process was easy enough.
