Decent Basic Electric Model, but room for improvement

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first purchase of an electric stapler, so I didn't know what to expect or look for. It does the basic job very well, and for larger jobs it is far better than the heavy duty manual guns. I put wire fencing around my garden, and it did the job. I was impressed that it didn't need any special adjustment to get the staple to go flush into the wood. I only have a couple gripes, I hope Arrow will use to improve this -- 1. It doesn't come with a wire guide, which would have been helpful for putting up fence, or for later when I'm doing phone or TV wire (NOT electrical wire!). My old manual stapler had a small indentation on the stapler head, that was useful to center the staple on the fence wire, that would be helpful here. 2. The "Genuine T50" Arrow stainless steel staples I bought didn't fit a full length cartridge into the stapler! The loading area on the stapler was about 1-2mm too short. I had to break the staple cartridges in half, doubling my reloading time. How is that possible, that Arrow would miss this detail? Overall I recommend this, as a basic electric unit that will do the job. Keep working to improve it!

great for applying carpet to trailer bunks

purchased this stapler for a specific job of recarpeting bunk boards on our pontoon trailer. we used close to a thousand staples and the job went very quickly with no problems at all.
Pros: carpeting for a pontoon trailer.

Fantastic for single person install.

I was going to install indoor/outdoor carpet on the deck and was not sure how i was going to stretch the carpet a little and also be able to tack down. I have a slap stapler but did not think that was going to work very well. As i was at the store i was looking at different application i was thinking about and came across this stapler and decided i wanted to give this a try. I could not believe the ease of use and able to stretch the carpet a little. I would recommend this product.

Need to use 1/4" for pressure treated wood

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm replacing screens in a large gazebo. Will take about 1,700 staples, so i thought that I would give this a try. 1/4" are the only size that worked for me in pressure treated wood.

Ok for temporary use

I enjoy the electric stapler. Much easier to use and drive in staples than a handheld. But within the first 30 minutes, the carriage for the staples opens when hitting the trigger. I applied friction tape to the back of it, and hopefully it won't open causing the staples to fall out and having to pull out the last staple.
Pros: Upholstery
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
