[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] arrow T50ACD forced me to use 1/4 inch staples. Seat backing material maybe dense masonite type material. some penetration failure. Staples bending. Overall still seemed to do the job.
Pros: General Repairs, Upholstery
I would recommend this to a friend!

Does NOT support upholstery work as stated

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] News Flash. Most furniture is made from hardwoods. This staple gun only drives 3/8" staples halfway into oakand then severely bends them so they can't even be hammered. (And yes, I was using T50 Arrow staples) Very disappointing about the product and the misleading product description. It creates more re-work by using it.
Pros: Upholstery
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Reupholstering Dining Room Chairs

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The PowerShot Compact Electric Staple Gun was the perfect tool for reupholstering our dining room chairs. We used ¼ inch and 1/2 inch staples. We were stapling into MDF and had no problem getting the staples to penetrate. Using an electric staple gun made getting the fabric tight on the seat easy and I was able to do it without any assistance. Our chairs look like new!!!
Pros: Crafting, General Repairs, Upholstery

Works well when it works

I bought this stapler and used it for a project and it worked very well. A couple of months later, i took it out to use again and it would not work at all. Took it back to the store and got another one. If this one does the same, I will look for something different.
Pros: Crafting, Upholstery

Not appropriate for my use, not enough driving power.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was using T50 3/8 inch staples to secure an electric cable for holdiay lights to a fascia board. The staples would pull or fall out with minimal tension. The staple was shot from the electrical cord, so the nose of the gun was not flush with the fascia board. Regardless, the staple did not penetrate the board and it was difficult to disengage the safety by keeping the nose centered on the electrical wire. I prefer a slide safety lever instead of the nose release.
Pros: General Repairs, Wiring
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Product works well but, instruction manual is nut usefull

This product works well and is ergonomically comfortable to operate. The instruction manual leaves much to be desired. For starters the print is very small for an older person to read. the diagrams are even worse and poorly illustrated. Had I not used an electric stapler previously, I would probably not have gotten it loaded with staples. A better manual would have gotten a better rating.
Pros: Crafting, Flooring, General Repairs, insulation, Upholstery

Not as forceful pushing in the staples.

This product has a safety feature and can only be used when the contact safety is pressed. I wanted to use it in covering my dining room chairs however half of the time this safety feature slipped causing the staples to go in wonky and I had to pull these out and try to staple again. This may have to do with the force with which the staple goes in.
Pros: Upholstery

Hello -
Be sure you press the contact safety firmly against the surface before firing. You also may want to try using shorter staples. You'll find complete operating instructions in the manual: https://bit.ly/t50acd-manual.
