Great for Reupholstering

Good for kitchen chair reupholstery

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was unable to find staples to fit my old electric staple gun so had to bite the bullet and purchase a new stapler. The T50ACD fit the bill for being electric, small enough to fit my petite arthritic hands, and powerful enough to insert the staple without additional pressure. It works much better than the unit it replaced. I found that the 3/8th inch staples worked better for reupholstering my oak kitchen chairs; the 1/2 inch just didn't penetrate far enough and had a tendency to buckle. The 3/8th inch staple went through 2 layers of 1/2" foam, batting, heavy fabric, and cardboard into the solid oak and pine plywood without splintering.
