Great for kitchen chair re-upholstery

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The T50ACD was the perfect tool for the recent job of re-upholstering our kitchen chairs. It's light and easy to operate while still having ample power to secure the thick vinyl covering that we chose for this project. We used the easy to load T50 5/16" staples which worked like a charm.

Great Helpful Stapler

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to replace an older gun that had become unreliable after many years of use.!At first I could not figure out how to load it as it loads differently than my older Arrow products, but once I learned how it loaded and worked fine.
It worked well for my applications.

Perfect for my small business

This staple gun was a replacement because the previous one (different brand) would skip. I would have to unplug completely and plug back in to continue stapling. This one is lightweight, yet produces a heavy duty job. Love it!

It's not just 'pull the trigger and shoot'...tip has to be put to project with some force to staple.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this to replace a worn-out Stanley electric stapler, as this one takes the same staples--which I have an abundance of. I'm a crafter and DIYer and will use it probably 6-10x/year on projects. I spent about an hour last night stapling leftover siding insulation up on my shop walls, and my back is sore today (granted, I had a spinal fusion a little over a year ago) from having to push the stapler into the framing to activate it. It does load easily and the cord is a nice length, but I wouldn't buy it again or recommend it due to the force needed to use it.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The T50ACD does, like you said, have a contact safety that must be fully depressed before the tool will firing. Typically this is more a matter of positioning than force. However, the project you mentioned may have made this more challenging depending on the angle the tool was being shot, etc.
