this product is easy to use sets up nice in your hand, has safety feature as not to staple release unless making full contact with the surface you are stapling. I would give this a 4 out of five rating, only because it could be slightly larger to heavy duty jobs. the handle length could be lightly longer, the handle grip itself is fine and has a nice fell to it when stapling and is firm. using this stapler for my upholstery job made it easy as it was handy enough and light enough while using one hand, however to light has when using general consturction

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I do all kinds of projects with a staple gun: upholstery, and renovations mainly. An air powered stapler is great but you have to lug the compressor around. Manual guns kill my hand. This one is the perfect combo of portability and ease.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this to staple hardware mesh to 2x2 Douglas fir to create an enclosure to protect my tomatoes from squirrels. I used over 800 staples. It probably saved me 70% of my stapling time verses a hand push stapler. I had to be very conscious to keep the stapler at a right angle to my wood, or some staples would not go in flush. I think this may also be because of the hardness of the wood, and the fact that I was using 1/2 inch staples. Another “plus” is that it accepts a full row of staples from the box.

Typically with projects involving a hard plastic, like a motorcycle seat, we suggest using the PT50 Pneumatic Stapler. The reason we recommend that tool is because you need about 10 pounds of pressure on the tool over the staple exit point while stapling, and this is very difficult to accomplish with a surface like a hard plastic.

The manual staple gun I've used for years on other projects just doesn't work as nicely as this new tool--my T50ACD Electric Stapler! It's making my life MUCH easier--and not to mention less stress on my hand! Thank you for making such a terrific product in a very affordable price range. This will be perfect for my new found hobby and for other uses around the house!
