It works very well for reupholsterin chairs and stools. We used the T50 1/4 inch staples.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product worked very well for reupholstering chairs and stools. It was handy to use and my wife and I both really like the product. We used 1/4 in staples and reupholstered 4 stools and some antique chairs with it. I would recommend this for anyone that is a DYIer.

Bought this because my hands can't use the manual anymore, and surprisingly is the best thing I ever have. Easy to use, silent, light and do the work better and faster for me. I don't know why I didn't have it before!!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tool worked better than others I have tried in the past. I did have to use a hammer to tap the staples in a little bit but very happy with the job it did.

Regarding the staple length issue described, it may help to use a slightly shorter staple. We always recommend customers pick the shortest staple possible to achieve the 3/16-inch to 1/4-inch penetration required for a secure hold. Picking a longer staple than that can lead to the staple not firing flush into the surface, or even staple jams.
