Reupholstering Father's Footstool

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchase a footstooll for my dad after his heart attack. When he passed in 2000, I received his footstool. As you can image the fabric was old and worn. I found the fabric I liked at a local fabric store. However, the project remain unfinished for years because I did not have a staple gun. This would be my first upholstering project.
Today, I decided to complete this project using the T50ACD electric staple gun that I purchase. It was easy to load and use. The first photo is before and the second is the after photo. Now I'm ready to tackle some more projects using this tool.

I'm old and run out of grip when using manual staplers, this T50ACD is great!

The only reason this stapler did not get an excellent rating , was the many languages the instructions are written in. I did have a bit of trouble figuring out how to load the staples. once loaded, the gun worked great. I recommend it for older folks that have arthritis.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Currently reupholstering the dinner room chairs and will be upholstering another project soon. This electric version of a classic has been instrumental in speed and ease. If you are thinking about buying this I recommend it but be sure to hold it firm to your target otherwise it may not sink the staple all the way.

Also appreciate the tip you shared about keeping the stapler flush to the surface while firing. That definitely is important in getting staples to fire fully into the surface! It's also helpful to choose the shortest staple possible to achieve a penetration of about 3/16-inch to 1/4-inch into the surface; this will give you a secure hold and assist in driving those staples flush.

Much easier to use than my old Arrow electric stapler

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used my arrow T50ACD to staple webbing on dining room chairs. I expected to have to put pressure on the stapler in order of get the staples to fully insert as I did in my old stapler. Boy was I totally surprised! It was so easy, no pressure, no staples half inserted. I am excited about recovering my dining chairs knowing how easy it will be to staple the new fabric on.
