So glad I replaced with this one. Easy and comfortable to use and works reliably each time. I use mostly on small crafty type projects like upholstery, but husband and son use for bigger, tougher projects also and it works great on both.
Highly recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed to re-carpet the bunks on my boat trailer and thought that this tool would help drive the staples in easier. Most of the staples only went in three quarters of the way and had to be hammered in.
I was getting similar results using my regular non electric staple gun and hoped this would be better. The tool might work best on softer wood, bur was not very good on the pressure treated 2x4’s.

Often when a staple is not firing flush to the surface, this issue can be resolved by choosing a shorter staple. In general, we recommend picking the shortest staple possible to achieve the penetration of 3/16-inch to 1/4-inch, which is all that's required for a secure hold. Using a longer staple than needed can lead to staple jams and keep staples from firing flush into the surface.
