disappointing and perhpas the wrong electric stapler

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I do upholstery work and have been using a T50 and a smaller arrow version -powerless. I was looking for something which would speed up the job since I used the manual staplers for years. What I found was it fails to staple if not upright. The safety for proper seating before discharge means I have to make 3-4 attempts and then the stapler becomes confused and stalled. A job which might be 4 hours is taking 5-6 hours. It was so frustrating I found myself returning to the manual staplers. The retailer only stocks a larger version and this seemed a better size to manouve into tight spots. It is frustrating and I am looking to return it - unsure if the sensor is off or that is expected. It means lifting away from the project when you have to staple every 1/2 to 3/4 inches.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

You're correct that this tool does have a contact safety which must be fully depressed before the tool will fire. This means after each shot, you must pick up the front of the tool in order to reactivate the contact safety for each shot.
However, we'd like to touch base with you about the issues you've described directly to make sure we fully understand what you've encountered and to troubleshoot the issues you've had with being unable to staple if not upright.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Worked great out of the box. Great replacement for a competitor model that never worked properly. I’m a beekeeper and use staples in several aspects of my hardware building. I shot one full box of staples the first day with no problems, unlike the competitor model. Great product. Definitely recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The T50ACD compact electric staple gun is easy to learn how to use. I've only used a manual staple gun before purchasing this staple gun. I was very pleased with how fast and easy it is to upholster a chair using it. I don't have a lot of strength in my hands, so this staple gun is perfect for me. Also, the rubber grip makes it comfortable to hold.
