Nice device to use, but....

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Compared to my 25 year old Stanley power stapler, this is a much more appealing device to use. Comfortable, easy, SAFE(er), and suitable for the chair re-upholstery job at hand. Bought it because the old Stanley would not drive 9/16 or 1/2 inch staples into a wood frame. NEITHER will this T150ACD. It doesn't say that on the packaging, and inside instructions suggest it will handle 1/2". NOT WELL. I managed to do the upholstery job with 3/8's and they seem more than adequate. So I'll keep it for "light tasks", and use my pneumatic gun for "real work".

Hey there, we're sorry you've been disappointed by your experience with the T50ACD Cordless Electric Staple Gun.
While the T50ACD does fire 1/2-inch T50 staples, we always recommend choosing the shortest staple possible to achieve the surface penetration of 3/16-inch to 1/4-inch that is needed for a secure hold. Going deeper than that into the surface will not necessarily ensure a better hold and can increase the possibility of staple jams.
Typically we'd recommend using the T50ACD with 1/2-inch staples for projects like installing carpet treads, attaching a thick fabric to a soft wood, or even ceiling tile installation.
However, if you continue to have issues with staple penetration or if you'd like to discuss this further, please call 800-776-2228 or email customercare@arrowfastener.com since we do stand behind this tool with a warranty.

Great upgrade from the manual gun...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I moved from the 7500 Powershot to this T50ACD electric model. Night and day better. Stapled for hours (installing insulation batts in workshop) and never got hand cramps like the manual tool. Thanks Arrow..
