[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Like many others I bought this because I had a large amount of stapling to do and did not want to use a manual stapler. I purchased the T50ACD electronic staple gun so I could use it in my attic to add some insulation and repair some old insulation batts. The product is easy to load with staples and use with one important detail when using the device, the safety mechanism on the stapler has to be squarely and completely pressed on the surface in order for the gun to fire. In tight spaces, soft surfaces or uneven surfaces this was a problem and took a few re-positioning efforts or extra force against the surface to get it to fire. The nose safety switch is a good feature which must be pressed in the correct position before the unit allows the delivery of staples. Thus you have to angle the front of the stapler in a downward position so as to depress the little metal tab onto the surface before the stapler will engage. This is not sufficiently explained in the directions. It makes you work your muscles a little bit to make sure the unit is firmly planted on the surface in order to deliver the staple. There was not much of an issue against a hard surface like wood but when you push the unit up against softer material like insulation, you had to make sure with a little force that the nose safety switch was also engaged before it would fire.
Other than that, it worked just fine and had no trouble getting the job finished. This stapler turned a 3 hour job into a 1 hour job, without the aching hands or wrist action that comes with manual staplers. It was a good purchase.

Lots of power in a compact tool

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this to reupholster some chairs and it did a great job. It planted the staples well once we got the hang of it. It handles differently than our old power stapler, so it took a while to get used to how it needed to be positioned, but we had no problems with it. Easy to load and no jams or malfunctions.

Easy on the hands!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After years of using a regular Arrow T50 stapler, I recently began struggling with it and decided to get one that didn't require as much hand strength. The T50ACD is a dream! I've been using it to staple vines to a wooden structure and because of the safety feature that requires pressure on the surface, it ensures the vines don't slip before they get stapled. This was a problem with the manual stapler.

The stapler is extremely easy to use and is very powerful. It never jams so it is very dependable. It is a great value for the dollar spent.
