[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had an old stapler that didn't work too good. I am looking forward to using my new one with no problems - especially since I now have full instructions. It would be nice if the picture showing how to load the staples was a bit larger so one could actually see how to load the staples. It took me a while to figure out that part.

Just as easy to use as the manual staple gun

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We found that we had to hold the stapler in just the right way for the staples to go in. Plus we had to add pressure to it to make sure the staples went in deeper. We also found that for the project we were doing a smaller staple worked better. All in all, we loved using it.

You're right on every point!
Like you said, the tool does have to be positioned in such a way that the contact safety will be fully depressed before it will fire. Typically this is more about positioning than force, but it can be challenging if working with a soft material like foam.
When working with a hard wood like plywood, oak or MDF, it can be helpful, as you stated, to place one hand on the cap of the tool while firing, as long as you can do safely.
We also always recommend using the shortest staple possible to achieve the 3/16-inch to 1/4-inch penetration required for a secure hold. So it sounds like you've got a great understanding of this tool!

I went to true value an got this one an o love it i am building a chicken lot an it is very smooth holding it an getting the plastic mesh up where i want it .
