Not impressed at all had an older but not that old just quit working it was ausom don't know model wasn't that old

Hey there, we are sorry you have been disappointed by your experience with the T50ACD Compact Electric Staple Gun.
Regarding the firing speed of this tool, you're right that the T50ACD wasn't designed to be a rapid fire staple gun. Instead, it has a motor drive technology that ensures the tool has consistent driving force, even on a 100-foot extension cord. However, it does fire about 60 shots per minute versus traditional solenoid power tools, which average around 30 shots per minute.
You're also right that this tool has a contact safety that must be fully depressed before the staple gun will fire. We do test this tool internally and with end users for functionality, but we understand that it may be more challenging to engage depending on the project. Typically, though, it's more a matter of positioning than force to fully engage the safety.

Works Like It Should

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used this to attach a carpet runner to stairs. Worked very well, put the staples in with no problem, etc. I think I will find other uses for it also. Good choice for the average homeowner.
