Overall decent but too pricey

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is well made. However initially we had difficulty opening to insert staples. Way overpriced for what it does. No staples included. Not accecpabl for the cost of this item.

Hey there, we are sorry you've been disappointed by your experience with the T50ACD Compact Electric Staple Gun.
This tool can be loaded by turning off or unplugging the tool, pushing down on the quick-release black button, placing the staples into the channel with the legs facing up and out of the tool, and then pushing down on the quick release button and snapping the pusher rod back into place. Regarding staples, you're correct that at this time we do not include staples with most of our staple guns. However, we will pass along your feedback to our product managers for consideration as they continue to improve our tools and create new products.

Does not accidentally staple more than once, slow and heavy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The good news is that it does not double staple like my last two electric staplers. The bad news is that it's heavy, awkward, does not staple close to the edge, slow to staple, and made in China. Would not buy again and thinking about returning it to Lowes.

You're right that this tool was not designed to be a rapid-fire staple gun. Instead, it was created with motor drive technology to ensure consistent driving force with each shot -- about 60 shots per minute -- even on a 100-foot extension cord. At 2.75 lbs., this tool may e heavier than some other options, but it does fall within the average 2.3-4 lbs. weights of professional electric tools on the market.
Regarding the ability to staple on the edge, you're also right that the contact safety is set back slightly from the head of the tool, and it does need to be fully depressed before the tool will fire. It may be more challenging to do this with a thin and narrow edge, or in an enclosed space. But often reorienting the tool or the edge of the project being stapled (when possible) will allow you to staple on the edge of a material. and if it's extremely important to have very accurate staple placement, we would suggest putting a visible mark on both sides of the tool where the staple exits to help aligning shots.
You're also correct that this tool is manufactured overseas. While many of our products are designed, assembled and manufactured at our main office and plant in Saddle Brook, New Jersey -- including the T50 staples this tool fires -- some of our staple guns like the T50ACD are manufactured in China. However, regardless of where they are produced, we stand behind all of our products and are always willing to troubleshoot with customers with our U.S.-based customer service team by phone at 800-776-2228 or by email at customercare@arrowfastener.com.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this stapler for a home project I was doing.........I chose the electric model over the hand model and I am so glad I did. It was easy to use, easy to load and very safe to leave lying around when not in use. This stapler performed far better than my expectations and now I am looking for another project.......this was fun to use!!!
