Hello, there. We are sorry you've been disappointed by your experience with the T50ACD Compact Electric Staple Gun.
This tool was designed with motor drive technology to ensure consistent driving force for each shot; it was not designed to be a rapid-fire staple gun. That being said, the T50ACD does fire at a rate of about 60 shots per minute, versus a traditional solenoid driven electric tool that averages about 30 shots per minute.
However, we understand there may be other issues at play here, so we'd like to chat with you directly about this to make sure we fully understand the issues you encountered, particularly in regards to the strength of this tool.

Working great on simple carpet and upholstery work

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was hoping I wouldnt need to invest in a air compressor and gun just to do some basic work, took a chance on this electric stapler. I havent had any jams or problems firing, its got enough force to get through carpet and hardwood stairs. Doing great for me.

I just needed a simple electric stapler; something for do-it-yourself projects around the house. This stapler fit the bill. It's not super fancy or super high-powered, but it gets the job done. I would buy it again.
