Great stapler with easy to follow instructions

One small detail that goes a long way is the clear marking and color coding on the stapler making it very clear the type size and style staples can be used. Other staplers on the market have not been very clear and this makes for ease of use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had bought a Stanley corded stapler a few years back and it started to triple staple and put the staple in at an angle. It couldn't do that simple task anymore. As an experienced DIYer I know not to buy the cheapest tool but a commercial grade is not needed. So I picked this one out by reasonable price and only a stapler option. Liked the heavy feel and grip. First project was stapling 1/4 inch staples into 6 mil vapor barrier; this can get awkward in corners. It did not fail. Very easy and it worked on every staple. And had enough power to drive staple in using only one hand at an awkward position. I believe it was the weight of the stapler that really helped here.
CON so far is that it slit the plastic at the edge of the staple. Not sure if it was from the Safety Contact, stapler not totally flush with surface, or the staple driver, or the staple driven in far enough to cut plastic. So I just made sure I was stapling where the caulk was under the plastic to ensure a seal.
Here's the real info. 1/2 inch into pine, no problem, one hand. 1/4 into oak, almost set, staple on top of wood, one hand or two has same results. 3/8 into oak, not set, but staple was bending, I think the stapler had the power.
